Life Time Introduce
In the landscape of Omaha's fitness scene, Life Time stands as a unique and comprehensive destination, often referred to as an "athletic country club" rather than just a gym. For residents of Nebraska seeking a one-stop location for all their wellness, sport, and family-oriented needs, this facility provides a vast array of amenities and services under one roof. Life Time goes beyond the typical workout floor, offering everything from state-of-the-art strength training and cardio equipment to specialized studios for cycling, yoga, and Pilates. It's a place designed to cater to every member of the family, from the most dedicated athlete to the youngest child looking to burn off some energy.
The sheer scale of the facility, at 115,000 square feet, allows for a stunning variety of activities. This is not a minimalist gym; it is a full-service health and wellness center dedicated to offering a complete experience. The diverse offerings aim to keep members engaged and motivated, whether they are working out on their own, taking a group class, or enjoying a family activity. This all-encompassing approach is what often draws Omaha locals to Life Time, as it promises to be a place where they can invest in their health and well-being without having to seek out multiple venues for different activities. It’s a place that is as much about community and recreation as it is about fitness.
However, it's worth noting that with a premium offering comes a premium price, and the experience can vary. While some members find the expense to be well worth it for the sheer number of amenities, others have expressed concerns about the value for money, especially when compared to other gyms in the Midwest. The facility's ability to live up to its luxury reputation is a point of discussion among local users. While the range of options is impressive, the overall experience, from staff interaction to the variety of classes, has received mixed feedback from the local community.

For residents of Nebraska, choosing the right gym is a personal decision based on individual needs and budget. What is worth choosing about Life Time is its comprehensive offering, which can be a significant benefit for families. If you are looking for a single membership that provides access to a full-service health club with a wide range of fitness, sport, and recreational amenities for every family member, Life Time can be a compelling option. The availability of everything from swimming and rock climbing to a sauna and personal training under one roof is a major selling point that few other facilities can match.
However, it's essential to consider the feedback from local users. While the club's amenities are impressive, some members have expressed concerns about the value for the price, the friendliness of the staff, and the quality of some children's programs. It is crucial for a potential member to weigh the benefits of the extensive facilities against these reported issues to make a decision that aligns with their personal expectations. For some, the cost and the potential for a less than ideal experience with staff or specific programs may outweigh the benefits of the numerous amenities. Ultimately, a tour of the facility and a clear understanding of what you are seeking in a gym will help determine if Life Time is the right fit for your family’s unique fitness journey.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Their children’s programs are horrible. They adjust the activity without informing the parents (art class becomes nothing), they completely lost my kid for a full 10 minutes - no one knew where he was, and the last straw in martial art class they had a bully threaten to punch my child in the face. When we went to the director of children’s activities (Wendy) she blew us off and told us there’s nothing they can do about it.Don’t trust them with your children.
September 16 · EricComparing to other Midwest clubs, Omaha practically fails in every way my opinion. The 2 stars are because it is a nice place and has a lot of amenities.I thought being back in a more populated city would be amazing for lifetime, but it’s not here. There are even less group classes, less variety of trainers doing a variety of classes. Not friendly or welcoming staff or trainers. I have used lifetime apps for training/tracking and this club is too good to use them.Front desk staff does not give you the time of day and just has their heads cranked down on their phone.Way too expensive for the only thing provided is a roof over our heads. I’m sadly and greatly disappointed in this club.
April 18 · Jeremy HanzekThe gym equipment and amenities are great. The main issue I have is the use of the one remaining basketball court. One court has been changed to pickle ball and the other is often being used for other events. We got our membership years ago and have utilized the courts for years until the recent renovation. It is frustrating to make the trip here with my son to play basketball to find out we can't use the basketball court at the gym we pay almost $300/month.
February 22 · Aaron CadloNot a friendly place... Lady at reception( typical Karen) is very aggressive. Was trying to be nice from beginning to the end…..Had a minor issue, instead of trying to help called some random dude to tell me to leave so I don’t hold the door. Typical “let’s resolve any issue with maximum aggression” people. Will be canceling our memberships. Not too far away, ran over old bullets on the ground. I wonder if someone was not happy with them as well, but decided to not cause a scene. 😂😂😂
July 04 · Uyghur AkaThe classes have been amazing! I am very spontaneous, so I really like how flexible I can be with the variety of them to choose from. Right now a typical day for me looks like GTX at 6AM, steam room and office work from 7-8, 8-9:15 I play pickleball, then I do kickboxing from 9:30-10:30. This is becoming what a standard morning looks like for me. I started out only doing the 6 AM GTX classes and 2 months later, here I am. Me and my wife utilize the daycare, we have been taking our kids to swim lessons, we use the salon and spa and we are excited for the outdoor pool to open up next week. There are just so many things to do here. Is it pricy? Yes, but just use the membership and it will be worth it.
