Life Time Introduce
For residents in the $text{Ellisville}$ and wider $text{West County-Chesterfield}$ area of Missouri, $text{Life Time}$ at $text{3058 Clarkson Rd}$ is not just another $text{gym}$; it is an expansive $text{athletic country club}$. This destination is designed to be a complete healthy living experience, going far beyond the basic weight floor and treadmills. Spanning a vast facility, $text{Life Time}$ integrates state-of-the-art $text{fitness center}$ amenities with luxury relaxation spaces and comprehensive family programs.
The atmosphere is intentionally luxurious, aiming to provide members with a $text{third space}$—a sanctuary away from both home and work. This focus on premium amenities creates a resort-like environment that caters to $text{all ages}$ and stages of life, from $text{infants}$ to $text{active older adults}$ (often served through the dedicated $text{ARORA}$ program). While some may view the environment as a "social club" rather than a dedicated $text{serious workout}$ facility, many members appreciate the clean, well-maintained surroundings and the extensive array of social and recovery amenities, such as the $text{Cold Plunge}$ and $text{Sauna}$.
$text{Life Time}$ in $text{Ellisville}$ is built around the philosophy that healthy living encompasses mind, body, and community. The sheer size of the facility—reportedly over 112,000 square feet—allows for dedicated spaces for everything from $text{Olympic lifting}$ to $text{guided meditation}$ in the $text{Yoga Studios}$. With professional $text{Personal Trainers}$, nationally recognized $text{Swim Coaches}$, and dedicated $text{Kids Academy}$ staff, the club serves the entire $text{Missouri family}$, allowing parents to pursue their fitness goals while their children are engaged in educational and active programs on-site. The experience is designed to be $text{all-inclusive}$, requiring a $text{Membership}$ to access this premium healthy way of life.

Features and Highlights
The unique selling propositions of $text{Life Time Ellisville}$ center on its luxury amenities and all-encompassing family focus:
Resort-Style Aquatics Complex: A major draw is the presence of $text{dual indoor and outdoor pools}$, complete with a dedicated $text{Outdoor Leisure Pool}$ that offers $text{poolside food service}$, $text{giant water slides}$, and a $text{Zero-Depth Entry}$ area, providing a country club feel in the heart of $text{Missouri}$.
Luxury Recovery and Amenities: The club features both a high-heat $text{Sauna}$ and a $text{Cold Plunge}$, amenities highly valued by members for recovery and general well-being. What is Worth Choosing
For a Missouri resident looking for a comprehensive wellness experience, $text{Life Time Ellisville}$ is worth choosing primarily for its $text{all-in-one family model}$ and $text{unmatched luxury amenities}$. No other standard $text{gym}$ in the region provides the same level of facilities, which include $text{dual indoor/outdoor pools}$, an extensive $text{Kids Academy}$ (effectively on-site $text{Day Care}$ and $text{Kids Programs}$), $text{Sauna}$, $text{Cold Plunge}$, and a $text{full-service café}$. It truly functions as a $text{community hub}$ where members can spend hours without needing to leave for other activities. This is especially valuable for $text{families}$ where parents want to maximize their $text{workout}$ time while ensuring their children are safe and engaged.
However, potential members must understand the core nature of this facility. As noted in several customer reviews, $text{Life Time}$ is fundamentally a $text{premium, high-cost athletic country club}$—not a discount, no-frills facility. Users seeking a purely utilitarian $text{serious workout}$ environment focused only on heavy lifting in a quiet space may find the club $text{noisy}$, $text{loud}$, and crowded with individuals who prioritize the social and amenity aspects. The atmosphere can feel less intense than a dedicated $text{powerlifting gym}$. Furthermore, some members have noted that the club can be "packed by old people, and just sitting next to equipment" in the $text{Gym}$ area, though this is often balanced by comments about a nice, welcoming $text{community}$.
The choice hinges on what you value:
Choose $text{Life Time}$ if you want a $text{full-service lifestyle solution}$ that includes $text{childcare}$, $text{aquatics}$, $text{diverse class offerings}$ (from $text{Yoga}$ to $text{Pickleball}$), and $text{luxury recovery}$, and if you view the high cost as an investment in a full family health experience.
Do not choose $text{Life Time}$ if your sole priority is a $text{quiet, hard-core, budget-friendly weightlifting gym}$ where socializing is minimal. In this case, a specialized or budget $text{fitness center}$ may be a better fit.
For the $text{Ellisville}$ area resident who values the $text{integrated lifestyle}$ and $text{premier club}$ environment, $text{Life Time}$ offers an unparalleled option in $text{Missouri}$.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 11. Cold plunge is fantastic.2. Cafeteria: Clean, busy service, touches every member in time, and fast, no line. Here is only two employees are providing all service, and making sandwiches. Fast, nice, and busy. Frontenac should learn them.3. Clean workout area.4. At this point, I would prefer Frontenac members’ workout atmosphere. In chesterfield, packed by old people, and just sitting next to equipment. I feel uncomfortable. I don’t blame them, maybe they don’t know, and health issues (for walk). However, they are nice community.5. My sandwiches’ size was bigger than Frontenac cafeteria 😊, maybe because of cold plunge affects my view 🙄
August 25 · Shinechimeg BatbayarWhat a total gimmick rip off places they try to make it look like some sort of luxury spa with coffee shops, etc. it's not a Jim everybody there was just walking around hardly working out. It's just like a hangout place. That's very expensive. If you're wanting to be a serious Workout person, this is definitely not the place for you. It is a social club for people to brag about how much money they make and how much they pay for a stupid gym. Also, it was so incredibly noisy and loud there with people talking on microphones crappy music playing there is no seriousness about this place at all
September 05 · Coolness Yo !It's a huge gym with just about everything you'd need. They've recently added hydromassage and cryo-chairs upstairs. Great steam room (when it's working) and the pool sauna is excellent and HOT. The sauna in the men's locker room is not very good, not nearly as hot.The biggest caveat is the hours of operation. For a membership price near $200, they need to be a 24 hour facility. Or at least extend their hours to midnight. They could also update the equipment and locker rooms. The showers are very old. Compared to the Frontenac location, Chesterfield feels super dated.Their 'bring a guest' rules are silly. The same person can only visit once every 60 days. Again, we're paying nearly $200/month here, can't I bring the same friend more than just once every 60 days?
May 28 · Malm PcLauren was super kind for the tour and I really like it so far! It is like a cruise on land with the great pools, cafe, gym, classes, kids club.
July 15 · Maria del RosarioThe cafe is a struggle. Give every single person a number! It’s so weird, just take an order, give a number. Also consider labels printed for the cups so you can minimize any concerns for ingredients.
