Laughing Frog Yoga Introduce
Introduction / Overview
Laughing Frog Yoga, strategically located in the heart of West Los Angeles, is a refreshing and distinctive presence in the California wellness scene. Far from being a traditional, overly serious studio, Laughing Frog embraces a philosophy that is light, fun, and deeply community-focused. The studio's mission is to combine the physical and mental benefits of yoga with genuine moments of joy and laughter, living up to its name by encouraging everyone to "live life with a smile on your face and with pep in your step."
While the studio excels at offering a comprehensive schedule of foundational and dynamic yoga classes—including Vinyasa Flow, Restorative, and Deep Stretch Yin—it has truly captured the attention of the Los Angeles community with its unique and highly celebrated Animal Yoga programs. These classes, which feature playful interactions with adorable rescue puppies and friendly baby goats, have redefined wellness as a fun, accessible, and therapeutic activity. This fusion of traditional practice with animal-assisted therapy provides a powerful mood boost and stress-relief experience, which is particularly valued by fast-paced residents of Southern California.
Proudly identifying as an Asian-owned business, Laughing Frog Yoga cultivates a welcoming, non-pretentious, and all-levels environment. Whether you are a seasoned yogi looking to deepen your breathwork practice, or a complete beginner searching for a friendly, judgment-free place to start, this studio invites you to join their "yoga family." The focus is not just on the mat, but on building genuine relationships and fostering a supportive community, making it a true hub for wellness in the Santa Monica, Brentwood, and West LA intersection.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I went to goat yoga this past Sunday at Laughing Frog Yoga and had the best time! I wasn’t totally sure what to expect, but it ended up being one of the most fun and unique experiences I’ve ever had.The class was a great mix of simple yoga and playful goat interactions. At one point, I had a goat standing on my back while I was in a pose. The goats were super friendly, well taken care of, and added so much joy to the experience. It honestly just made yoga feel less serious and way more fun.Everything was organized and well-run, and the staff made sure we were all comfortable and got plenty of time with the goats. I also loved how the environment was chill and welcoming, even for people who might be new to yoga.It was well worth the money, and I’d 100% recommend it to anyone looking for a fun weekend activity or just something a little different. I’ll definitely be back!
July 15 · Dylan MichaelsI decided to visit LA last weekend with my boyfriend and we were so excited to try a goat yoga class. Laughing Frog and their rescue baby goats and lambs didn't disappoint! They were only six weeks old and it was so fun to see them learn to climb. With all the craziness going on in the world today, it felt very grounding to spend time with the animals while getting my yoga on. Highly recommended!
July 21 · Tiffany DuongGoats 10/10 instructor 0/10.Would have preferred to have paid $50 to hang out with the goats than come to this studio for goat yoga. The teacher was annoying, making dumb goat puns as if she was talking to five-year-olds.And then used the class to promote her not so great single? Not sure if she is an actual yoga instructor. Also, the studio is indoors with nearly 50 people packed in like sardines. Feels more like a cash grab. All that being said I came for the goats not the yoga and the goats/ goat staff did not disappoint. I just wish this was outside and with a yoga instructor that didn’t take away from the experience.
March 11 · Kate McLaughlinThe Laughing Frog Yoga studio is a gem of a community, offering incredible teachers and it’s a space that radiates belonging. Since joining, my yoga practice has blossomed, and my love for wellness has flourished. The studio's easy parking and accessible website make the experience seamless. With a diverse range of teachers offering everything from breath work to yin yoga, and sound bath session, there's truly something for everyone. The Laughing Frog has not only deepened my practice but also given me a newfound sense of belonging in a new town. Grateful for this journey! - Quinne
