★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Lalita Method is the best. Not only is the aesthetic so welcoming, so are the staff members. All of the instructors are wonderful and somehow have a new, creative, and challenging class programmed every day. Such a great spot to also get your body recovery time in the cold plunge and infrared sauna. Cannot say enough great things about this studio!
February 27 · Stephanie DowseFrom the moment we stepped into the wellness center at Hotel AKA, we felt welcomed, supported, and ready to move. Our class was led by none other than the owner herself, Danielle—and let me just say, she is everything. Her presence is calming, her cues are clear, and her energy is so encouraging. You can tell she deeply cares about creating a space where every woman feels strong, seen, and celebrated. The class itself was a perfect mix of challenge and restoration. We felt the burn in the best way, and Danielle’s coaching pushed us to tap into strength we didn’t even know we had. She guided us through intentional movements that were both accessible and effective. Everyone in the room—regardless of their experience with Pilates—felt empowered. After class, we were glowing (and not just from the sweat!). It was more than a workout; it was a whole experience rooted in community, movement, and joy. Lalita Method is now at the top of my list for self-care and wellness in the DMV. I cannot wait to return!Thank you, Danielle, for sharing your gift with us and creating such a powerful, affirming space. You’ve got a lifelong fan in me!

May 18 · Calesha MitchellI’ve been doing pilates over the last 15ish years (both mat and reformer classes) and I’ve tried both traditional and other styles as I’ve relocated over the years. Lalita is a breath of fresh air and we’re lucky Danielle’s opened this studio in Old Town! The classes are challenging (in a good way), well-structured, and have a flow. The instructors are focused on giving you a good experience and making sure you get the most from your class. It is a welcoming studio and community - I highly recommend you check it out!
February 22 · Joanna KozakouLalita Method is a breath of fresh air for Old Town Alexandria! The instructors are experienced and explain moves well, especially for those new to reformer Pilates. I have only taken 3 classes so far and am really enjoying it. Each class is so different too! It is a beautifully designed and curated wellness space. It feels California coastal. For constructive feedback, I encourage Lalita Method to continue to work on varied membership and pass options.
