I've now taken many virtual group classes with her, and over time I’ve developed a mental picture of how it works: When class starts, Katie puts her hands on some imaginary steering wheel and drives us all right through, never taking her eyes off the road till the moment class ends. How can she describe an exercise so precisely (even when she’s not actually doing it herself), and cue us through every tiny component so adeptly (even those of us who aren’t nearly so strong or skilled)? How does she KNOW? Even when we’re all on Zoom? I have no idea. I just know that taking a class with her is routinely a joyful, invigorating, empowering experience.
