Yoga Studio
- Aerial Align and Restore
Style: Aerial Swing; Audience: Beginners / Sunday Swing class suggested prerequisite. An all-levels appropriate class. You may wish to attend SUNDAY SWING held monthly if you have no prior experience with yoga or are a bit wary of the swings. Anti-gravity aerial swings remove compression from the body and offer a different perspective on traditional yoga postures. This class utilizes the swings to lengthen stretches, increase strength, and create space in the body.
- Aerial Classes
- Ashtanga Assisted Practice
Style: Ashtanga; Audience: New to Advanced. Ashtanga Assisted Practice provides you with individual instruction and guides you through the Ashtanga system. Arrive any time to begin your practice, making sure you can take a proper closing Savasana before the end of class time! Perfect practice to adapt not only to YOUR schedule, but more importantly, to adapt to YOUR level of ability.
- Ashtanga for the Life Span
Style: Ashtanga; Audience: Beginners. Created for the student who has NO IDEA what to do! We'll work at your pace of moving and learning. The instructor will guide you through the six fundamental postures of the Ashtanga Beginner's Series.
- Ashtanga: Led Primary
Style: Ashtanga; Audience: Experienced / Advanced. Created for the Ashtangis who have a regular Mysore-style practice. This class is not New-to-Yoga Friendly, but if you have a working knowledge of the postures (and the modifications you can make), then you are welcome to join us. After the Opening Chant, we will dive straight into our practice with Surya Namaskar A & B, then continue through the Primary Series. Class time is about 1 hour, 45 minutes, which includes Closing Chant and Taking Rest.
- Gentle Hatha Yoga
Style: Hatha; Audience: Beginners and beyond. A gentle and beginner appropriate class based in the Hatha tradition of yoga. Attention to the breath, focused movement, and emphasis on intention are offered in this class. If getting up and down from the mat is a challenge, teachers can add a chair and other props to assist your practice.
- Introduction to Ashtanga
Style: Ashtanga; Audience: Beginners / No Experience. Ashtanga is a yoga practice that can be adapted for all body types and abilities. This intimate, small-group class will provide you with direct teacher instruction on what to wear, what to expect in a Mysore-style class, and introduce you to the basic postures and breathing practices of Ashtanga Yoga.
- Stretch and Strengthen

- Vinyasa Yoga
Style: Hatha Yoga; Audience: Some Experience Recommended. Vinyasa Yoga is a fast-paced series of postures that focuses on the flow between movements, rather than individual poses. Typically a dynamic practice that is not recommended for New to Yoga Beginners.
- Yin Yoga
Style: Yin Yoga; Audience: Beginners / No Experience. Yin Yoga is a slow–paced style of yoga in which poses are held for five minutes or longer. Promotes flexibility and strengthens the joints by applying moderate stress to the connective tissue while increasing circulation.
- Yoga FUNdamentals
Style: Hatha; Audience: Beginners / No Experience. Based in the Hatha yoga tradition, this all-levels appropriate class focuses on the basic principles of yoga, combining movement and breath to bring peace to the body and mind. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Top notch yoga experience. I practice yin regularly to help my sleep, and this class was one of the best I've done. The studio room has excellent vibes. The equipment was plentiful, explained to me, and cleaned between uses. The class was introduced to me as an outsider just passing through town - that welcoming to the community was priceless and unexpected. Class was affordable and sign up easy online. Strongly recommend you give them a go! You'll be thanking yourself!
September 16 · Kelly CostelloHad a lovely restorative and sound practice at this beautiful space. Was just what I needed. Very warm and accommodating place to practice. Will be looking forward to making my way back again in the future.
March 16 · Amber BroylesOutstanding studio for beginners and experts alike. Many different types of yoga are offered, classes are welcoming and accessible, and staff are obviously invested in their students’ well-being and success. We felt like part of the family after just one class and will be attending more in the future. For yoga, rates are reasonable and location is excellent.
October 21 · Tyler SI’ve been attending classes at Kai for over 3 years. Cate has built up an outstanding yoga studio, and Kai is a very welcoming space for people at all levels of practice. If you’re looking for a class to get you started, check out Yoga Fundamentals on Saturday mornings, or there’s sure to be a class to fit your schedule and experience level throughout the week. Trust me, once you try it you’ll be hooked.-Rick
July 01 · Rick BakerI was hesitant to take my first yoga class. I called and talked to Cate about my fears and lack of confidence, she told me if I could breathe, I could do yoga. I went to the studio and it was like coming home. Each and every instructor guides with compassion. Everyone in the studio supports and encourages everyone else, it's a judgment free community. In the years I have been practicing at Kai, I have become more centered, flexible, balanced and stronger. As a bonus, I have built amazing friendships. Come and practice at Kai, you will be glad you did.
