★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Graham was a wonderful teacher. We were visiting Durham for a month. We met with Graham weekly for individual sessions. She helped me maintain my yoga practice and worked with my husband, too. She is adaptive, clear, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend her.
August 10 · Donna CokerI started doing yoga at the Iyengar Yoga Center of Raleigh about a year ago, but I first met Graham Williams at a yoga workshop for scoliosis over 15 years ago. Since the workshop, I've had scoliosis surgery and the majority of my spine is now fused. I was nervous about getting back into yoga because I thought my mobility would be too limited. However, Graham has been amazing to work with. I completed private sessions with her at first so that she could understand how my body moved and adapt the poses to make them more accessible for me. I'm now in a regular class with other students, and Graham still takes the time to give me modifications or alternate poses if I can't do what the rest of the class is doing. I highly recommend Iyengar yoga at this studio because of how inclusive it is for all body types!
May 26 · LoreleiI have been taking Iyengar yoga with Graham for about six years. She is such a great yoga instructor. She gives every person in her class individual, hands-on attention. She offers a variety of classes at different skill levels so anyone can find a class that fits their ability and limitations.
May 27 · Ginny KloepferI’ve done yoga, off and on all through my life. Having grown up where yoga originated…I was acutely aware of what constitutes a good yoga teacher. Graham Williams is one of the best. She has trained under the Masters-actually gone to the very seat of Iyengar training-and runs an excellent program for all levels. What an amazing find!!
May 26 · Ruth SI have been one of Graham's students for over 16 years both in her studio and using Zoom instruction during Covid. She is warm, friendly, highly trained and expert at suggesting adaptations and props to enable a student to achieve positions that will provide maximum benefit for their body. Her astute observations, recommendations for adjustments, consistent support and encouragement has created a wonderful total yoga learning experience for me.
