The gym is designed to be a place where like-minded people can come together with the common goal of becoming better than they were yesterday, creating a culture that is both motivating and uplifting. While the focus is on providing an excellent space for serious workouts, the gym's management also highlights its commitment to creating a welcoming culture. As a veteran-owned business, it aims to foster an environment of discipline and dedication. The gym has a lot of great equipment, some of it being new and unique pieces that provide a good feel and a solid workout. The owners are described as being nice people, and many members express a positive sentiment, feeling that the gym has a "family feel" while still providing the environment needed to "really go hard." This balance of being a tough, no-nonsense gym with a friendly and supportive community is a difficult one to strike, but it's what makes Iron Society so appealing to its target audience. The gym is a place where you can find the tools you need to achieve your objectives and witness real results. The owners, who were competitive bodybuilders themselves, built the gym from their own experiences, noting what they liked and disliked from other facilities to create what they believe is the perfect gym. This passion is a key part of the culture and is meant to inspire members to succeed and create the life they've always dreamed of. While some areas of improvement, such as cleanliness and staff demeanor, have been noted in feedback, the core value of the gym—providing an excellent space for a solid workout—remains strong.

What is worth choosing
For those in Fort Wayne seeking a gym that prioritizes a serious, no-nonsense approach to fitness, Iron Society Strength and Fitness offers a compelling proposition. The core strength of this gym lies in its high-quality equipment and the ample space it provides for a variety of workout routines. As one customer noted, the gym is "sizable" with "lots of great equipment," making it a place where you can truly get a solid workout and "hit everything." This focus on the essentials of a gym—equipment and space—is what makes it a top choice for dedicated fitness enthusiasts. The availability of 24-hour member access is another huge selling point, providing the ultimate flexibility for those with unconventional work schedules or anyone who prefers to work out in the late-night or early-morning hours. This feature alone is a powerful motivator for choosing Iron Society over a gym with more limited hours. The presence of a sauna, tanning, and a child watch service are also valuable amenities that add to the overall convenience and appeal of the club.
However, what truly makes Iron Society a unique option is its declared commitment to being an inclusive and supportive space. As a gym that is LGBTQ+ friendly and a transgender safespace, it is consciously creating a welcoming environment for communities that may not always feel comfortable in traditional fitness settings. This mission-driven approach is a strong reason for people to choose the gym, as it goes beyond just the physical equipment and focuses on fostering a community of respect and acceptance. The fact that it is a veteran-owned business also resonates with many, signaling a culture of discipline and shared values. While some customer feedback has pointed to potential areas for improvement, such as cleanliness and the demeanor of some staff members, these issues do not seem to detract from the core value of the gym itself—a place where you can get a serious workout. The gym is a great place to get a solid workout and hit everything from free weights to specialized machines. The passion of the owners, who built the gym from their own experiences, is clear in the quality of the equipment and the overall vision for the space. For anyone in Fort Wayne looking for a gym that is focused on strength and serious fitness, while also offering a flexible and inclusive environment, Iron Society Strength and Fitness is a compelling choice worth considering.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This place is done right! Lots of great equipment and everything you need. The gym is sizable so plenty of space to perform whatever workout you may need for your routine.I will say it could use some help on the Cleanliness side, whether thats the massive powder stain on the floor where you enter or the holes in the wall in the deadlifting area and the locker rooms lockers can be a little grungy. Once that is addressed, I think I'll be able to give it a 5 star.
March 11 · Quentin M GraberGym- Great, you can really get a solid workout here and hit everything sauna includedStaff- not sure why the people at the counter are always so rude and short. You get the strong impression they hate being here and cant be bothered with your little people problems.Veteran owned-but not veteran friendly, stopped coming in the morning before duty as i just PCS to this area, the looks I get and general disgusted people have on their face when I get ready in the mornings is truly off putting. Also i attended another gym. When I first moved here. Hated it. Wanted to switch my family here but unless i pay to add my Spouse and child their is no real way of knowing if they will enjoy this location. Could be a situation where i pay, and my spouse and child don't like it and i just gave this gym a free money to have them try it for 2-3 days.Don’t worry $15 day pass and $4 child watch sounds like it should do the trick…
February 22 · Jay AreI came here once in my life for a drop in with one of my friends who was a personal trainer and we used this gym and tried it out. I would say it is really nice.(I will say I wish there was a private gym that had a pool area for me to swim laps other than the YMCA) but overall beautiful place.
November 17 · Casey WrightISG would absolutely receive a 5-star rating IF there wasn't an issue with a few members who wreak of body odor on a daily basis who have been complained about numerous times by multiple other members, but nothing has been done about it.I have edited this review to increase my rating from a 3-star to 5-star review, because the situation has been resolved.
June 03 · Josh SWas just in town for the week and decided to make a pitstop by this club! Was not let down!!! This place has everything you need, great environment, and everyone there is ready to work! Highly recommend this gym, if you are in the area looking for a new space. Would definitely be my go to spot if I lived in Fort Wayne.
