Infrared Yoga Introduce
In the vibrant health and wellness scene of Bellevue, Washington, a unique and modern studio stands out by offering a transformative experience that combines traditional yoga with innovative technology. Infrared Yoga is a boutique studio that specializes in classes conducted in an infrared-heated environment, providing a more comfortable and therapeutic alternative to traditional hot yoga. Unlike older methods that heat the air to high temperatures, infrared panels directly warm the body, penetrating muscles and joints for a deeper and more effective practice. This approach allows you to work up a detoxifying sweat without feeling overwhelmed by a suffocating heat. The studio's commitment to creating a mindful and beneficial experience is evident in its serene and well-maintained facility, which is a key reason why it has become a popular choice for those in the Washington region. It is a women-owned business that prides itself on being a safe and inclusive space for everyone, welcoming individuals of all backgrounds and fitness levels to find their balance and strength through movement. For those seeking to enhance their yoga practice with a therapeutic edge, Infrared Yoga offers a unique and rewarding option right in the heart of Bellevue.
The philosophy at Infrared Yoga is centered on providing a holistic wellness experience. The goal is not just to perform a physical workout but to create an opportunity for deep detoxification, muscle relaxation, and mental rejuvenation. The infrared heat is a central component of this philosophy, as it allows for increased flexibility and a deeper stretch, helping to prevent injury and promote faster recovery. A key aspect of the studio’s appeal, as noted by clients, is that it is "warm" but "not so hot I’m wiped out the rest of the day," a common complaint about other studios. This balance makes the practice both challenging and sustainable, allowing you to reap the benefits of heat-enhanced exercise without the negative side effects. The instructors are a critical part of the experience, described as "excellent teachers" who are knowledgeable and supportive. While the studio's schedule and offerings may vary, the core commitment to providing a high-quality, mindful practice remains constant. This is a place where every class is an opportunity to connect with your body and mind in a way that feels both effective and restorative.
Infrared Yoga is conveniently located at 1032 106th Ave NE #124B, Bellevue, WA 98004, USA. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Excellent facility. Excellent teachers. What I like about Infrared Yoga is that it is warm, and I sweat, but it is not so hot I’m wiped out the rest of the day, which is what happens at other studios. I highly recommend Infrared Yoga.
August 04 · Lauren SmithInfrared Yoga · Barre shares a building space and amenities with Shred415. There is street parking and a Belcarra parking lot.The infrared heated studio is up a small flight of stairs. The heat was optimal to enhance movement and generate detoxifying sweat, but not overwhelmingly hot. Currently only yoga classes are offered, no barre or fusion classes, but I look forward to them whenever they will be available. The posted hours are inaccurate; there are 7:30PM classes on Monday and Wednesday. Refer to their MindBody class schedule for most up-to-date hours.-1 star because the policy for late arrivals is not consistent at all. I've seen them let in students as late as 10 minutes past class time while also locking access to the front door before the posted class time.
May 02 · Jerica HuangI drove my girlfriend to her yoga session yesterday. She booked her session for 6:20pm. I got her there a minute early. She walked in at 6:20 and by the time she got to the desk, she was 1 minute late tops and was greeted by a very rude male Indian receptionist who refused to let her in claiming - “door closes at 6:20pm on the dot” and she wasn’t allowed in. Extremely poor customer service and rigid policies.I understand the importance of punctuality but I’m sorry, you are running a business with customers who are paying you, not the other way around. It is only reasonable to have some wiggling room for session timings as part of good customer service. There are people who live far away and had to go through unexpected heavy traffic to come to your studio. Some of us have very busy work/personal schedules and it is not easy for us to carve out time for a session. The way the studio turns paying customers away because they were seconds late shows a lack of empathy and understanding.
April 15 · Dominic IeongPoor customer experience. Staff is rude, inconsistent with following the late arrivals. Some are let in after being late for 10 minutes, others are turned around after 5 minutes. While I don't ask for special treatment, simple politeness would be nice. Won't go back, although I liked the coaches.
March 26 · Lina NgoUnfortunately I wish I could give this place a good review but I cannot. The parking is confusing especially if it’s your first time going. My friend and I drove 45 minutes to make it to this class she walked in, waited behind the people checking in when it was her turn the RUDE worker responded with that it was 7:41 and class began at 7:40. Mind you there were people ahead of her, she would have been on “time” if there wasn’t. The worker began to argue with her and express poor customer service. We left and did not attend the class and would not recommend.
