It is worth choosing for several compelling reasons that set it apart from typical commercial gyms.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I was referred to Illinois Bone And Joint performance institute by my physician.I have always been very active, but I have not really been in a gym environment since before 2020…From the first day of joining, I was so impressed with the professionalism of the trainers and the motivation that I got from the organized group classes .It has given me more energy and more motivation than I ever have had before in any other kind of workout environment. It has helped my growth discipline and has increased my strength ..I look forward to waking up in the morning and going to the build classes and also have tried the Pilates classes that have been just as informative and enjoyable.I admit there are days that are somewhat, not easy because they do challenge you, but that’s what this is all about!!And the trainers areteaching proper form, correcting mistakes, and using their expertise to maximize the benefits of your workout while preventing injuries. The supportive community and the high-quality of the trainers have been amazing. The group environment and social environment also helps encourage and motivate you to become better every day in your sessionsIt’s a win-win I urge anyone who’s even considering it to join in !!You are working hard, but they’re also laughs and it’s also a lot of fun !!!
September 09 · Louise SacksI have worked with HPI in Highland Park for many years on and off. I returned recently because I was getting a lot of running injuries. The adult fitness program was the answer! It’s a great program that addresses movement and overall strength! I love the trainers and trust them to keep me from getting hurt during the workout.
September 16 · Erin McCarthyStarted 2 months ago at HPI Highland Park and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, the trainers and their individualized attention. Nicole, Sadie, Matthew and of course David inspire me everyday, knowledgeable, motivating, warm and welcoming. The atmosphere of positivity, camaraderie, individual growth, and new mobility exercises (thanks David) keep each workout fun and challenging. The trainers and the iPads keep track of your progress, during the sessions they attentively adjust exercises for injuries, ensure that you're doing the reps correctly, and guide towards success. This is coming from someone who rarely went to the gym and only walked on the treadmill. A HUGE Thank You, I am gaining strength, stamina, and can't believe i am saying this...having fun working out.! -)
September 05 · Gayle MandelI have been working out at HPI Highland Park for 2 1/2 years. The trainers are all excellent (David, Nicole, Milan, just to name a few), focused on helping everyone meet their individual goals, and on doing the exercises correctly to avoid injury. The level of personal attention is unsurpassed, with a ratio of 5 participants (or less) to one trainer. I look forward to my workouts there, which are challenging, but somehow they make it fun. What I love most about HPI is the sense of "community," where everyone cheers for each other, and celebrates achievements. It really is a special place, and an investment in your health.
December 11 · Laurie Twait WassermanTo start with a summary, I have nothing but wonderful and grateful things to say about HPI and the program I have come to know, as well as for the two professionals that have been absolutely terrific - - David Londo and Nicole Mordini!I’m 70 years old and after having both hips fully replaced 8 weeks apart, I came to know about the HPI opportunity to continue improving my strength and flexibility after the initial post-op rehab sessions. Admittedly, I was apprehensive, but after the first session, I was sold. It is a wonderfully structured program to build strength, flexibility and endurance, but with a personalized approach to each of the many exercises involved. These are small “classes” of 5 to 10, with a trainer involved for each 5 participants. Within each class there is a wide variety of individual needs including my surgical situation, certainly some with more difficult challenges and those with no rehab needs who are simply trying to improve their fitness. Within each session, the trainers add great energy and spirit to match their professional expertise, highlighting a different mix of exercises and making the classes continually effective, interesting, and truly a great deal of fun! I have been in two classes per week for 8 weeks and look forward to continuing this program indefinitely. I just can’t say enough good words about HPI and the programs they have to offer!!
