The friendly, positive atmosphere keeps me coming back for more!The gym and equipment are always clean and well maintained and the instructors are always coming up with fun new workouts to keep us on our TOES!! It’s a great workout for all levels and ages and with constant instruction you can see improvements right from the beginning! It’s never a dull moment with theme days, monthly kickboxer celebrations, giveaways and so much more so it never gets boring! Not only have I seen a change in my physical appearance but my outlook on fitness and personal goals has changed for the better too!If you’re looking for something new to try I highly encourage you to take a free class, I did and I’ve been totally hooked ever since!

I was not expecting it to be as fun and social as it has turned out to be. It’s a wonderful community of supportive coaches and kickboxers. And the workout you get - lots of high intensity- is incredible. Don’t feel intimidated because everyone starts off as a newbie and the coaches will help you correct your form. The coaches know everyone by name so you always feel welcome and included in the community. Even if social isn’t your thing, you can just come to class and get a great workout.Every other Saturday Coach Zen Warrior Jen offers recovery yoga. (BTW, she really is a true warrior with the biggest heart ever!) The dojo also offers strength training and nutritional programs depending on what you want. I love that with a monthly unlimited membership I can do up to 4 body scans each month to see the progress I’m making.I love the fact that I’m getting strong, increasing my balance and stamina and gaining all the other health (physical and mental) benefits by kickboxing. My blood pressure is now totally normal and I’ve lost about 30 pounds over the last 7 months.I don’t think I would have stuck with this had it not been for the positive environment ILKB offers. Thank you to all the amazing coaches (Victoria, Raisa, Jen, Alex, Britney, and Cale)!

Vic, Cale, Raisa, Jen, Alex, and Britany bring a real joy and spirit of connection to the gym. The routines allow for flexibility - people go at their own pace and are able to modify the workout as needed.If you're worried it will be intense, it's only as intense as you make it! I've laughed a lot and really enjoyed learning about my own strength while bettering my technique. Give it a shot! You'll be hard-pressed to have more fun in a workout. (The workouts have a lot of variety as well, so even if you go multiple days in a row you won't be bored!)

I love the ILKB community, all of the instructors who are very loving and supportive. The classes are a lot of fun, I come out feeling happier and braver!

The instructors are all amazing and so friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, and they really get to know you and your health and fitness goals. It is not just an incredible all-over body workout and proven stress-reliever, but it is also so much fun, and everyone is so welcoming! The studio is state of the art and provides a safe space to leave it all on the mat and make yourself and your fitness journey a priority while making new friends! I highly recommend ILKB Beaverton to my family and friends and suggest it to anyone who is interested in trying a free class!
