★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I had the best time with Brandi! As a beginner to yoga, the Power Vinyasa class was fun, challenging, and rewarding! I was lucky that I was the only person during the class so it was a 1:1 and Brandi was great about modifying positions and correcting according to my skill level. Her energy and enthusiasm for what she does was contagious. If you want to break a sweat while listening to a great playlist you HAVE to book with Goodbeats Yoga!
September 19 · Jesse GoldstoneTo say I enjoyed this class would be an understatement! I've been practicing yoga for just over ten years and I really appreciate finding a studio where the class is well-structured, the teacher is informed, the poses are inclusive, and we can have fun. Brandy did a phenomenal job of leading the class, offering options for all levels of yoga experience, reminding us to breathe, and challenging us to build strength and try new things. On top of all of that, the music - uncensored hip-hop and rap - was a vibe! At times, we all sang along to the music and danced when a nostalgic throw-back jam played. This studio feels like the best possible intersection of modern culture and respect for the origins of yoga. I will definitely be a regular student here.
September 12 · Courtney WPicture this: you come back from work to your cozy spot, where all three dimensions are painted in black light, and the vibe in this room is mellow and chill. Oh, and there is no mirrors here, so it's all about the inner journey. Next, you play those all-time favorite tracks you groove to while cruising in your ride, chillin' with your close buds, or just doing your solo thing. This music has been rocking your life for decades. You step onto the mat and dedicate the next hour to your body and mind. Now, let's talk about Brandi. She's the boss lady who started this whole gig, an African-American soul that embodies this studio. She's an integral part of your yoga experience whose energy inspired me like crazy! Don't worry if you can't nail a pose; Brandi’s got your back, encouraging you to focus on the sensations and motivating you to give it another shot.Yoga with such a unique instructor is lit because you're both on the same wavelength, and the vibes are out of this world. I never felt this way before when I tried traditional yoga.Brandi, you're one-of-a-kind and so authentic! Prosperity for your business! Keep shining and rocking it!
July 28 · Kateryna ShubskaSo SO appreciative of this neighborhood spot! Brandi is an incredible instructor — so fun and feel-good. The space is thoughtfully done, the studio is intimate and calming. Not to mention the tracks are 🔥. Do yourself a favor and drop in for a class…you won’t regret it! Good beats and great vibes all around.
July 30 · Amy WongAs someone that’s been doing yoga off and on over the years (mainly cause they offered it at work), Goodbeats is the only studio I’ve gone to on my own with consistency. The class is really small, no more than 5 people. All black interior with no mirrors so you can concentrate on YOU. And the music… I don’t think I’ve ever heard Too$hort in a yoga class, but that’s why I love it. More importantly, Brandi is a great teacher. I’ve had the opportunity to have some solo classes with her and she’s helped me with my form and pushed my limits (my arms are currently sore) but knows when I need a child’s pose, lol. Located between Miracle Mile and West Adams with plenty of street parking. Support local business!
