This is more than just a place to practice cartwheels and handstands; it is a community dedicated to providing high-quality instruction and a positive environment for children and teens. The club offers a variety of programs for boys and girls, from toddlers taking their first steps in a parent-and-me class to competitive gymnasts training for national competitions. The focus is on building a strong foundation of skills, promoting physical fitness, and instilling important values like discipline, perseverance, and confidence. For parents in the area looking for a place where their children can be active, learn new skills, and make friends, this local gem provides a safe, structured, and fun outlet. It is a place where young athletes can explore their potential and develop a lifelong love for movement and exercise.
The club's reputation is a mix of positive and critical feedback, which is common in the world of specialized youth sports. On one hand, many parents have had excellent experiences, praising the staff for being "so patient and kind and caring when it comes to working with toddlers." This speaks to a strong, positive, and supportive atmosphere for younger children. On the other hand, a few reviews point to a desire for more structured and guided class formats, with one parent expressing disappointment with a lack of organization in a tumbling class. This feedback highlights a need for parents to choose the right program that aligns with their child's goals, whether it is for recreational fun or serious skill progression. It's a reminder that a good fit is crucial in any athletic program. While there may be varying experiences, the club's mission remains to provide a nurturing environment where all children have the opportunity to explore their potential. The blend of feedback suggests that the club excels with its younger, recreational clientele, offering a gentle and encouraging introduction to gymnastics, while some more advanced students may seek specific, high-intensity training. For new families in Frederick, this means it is a great place to start, with the potential to find the perfect fit with the right program and instructor.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My son has done it 2 years in a row and has loved it so much. They are so patient and kind and caring when it comes to working with toddlers.
July 17 · Reena BearI enrolled my daughter in a tumbling class on Saturday morning. My daughter does competitive acro. I wanted her to get additional practice closer to our house. This class was a total joke. There is no guidance or class structure. It’s totally unorganized it was like my daughter was at the jumping zone doing her own thing. My son had the same instructor to the tumbling class 2 summers ago. I was so disappointed to see he was teacher her tumbling class. Stop taking parents money and get qualified teacher with structure class that the student can actually learn. I enrolled her at flip which is much better.
September 26 · AndreaI'm deeply disappointed and frustrated with FGC. My child was abruptly dropped from the class, and the lack of genuine concern from the staff is appalling. Their demeanor can only be described as "uppity" and dismissive. It's evident they don't truly care about the children in their care. Their customer service is severely lacking, making interactions unnecessarily challenging. What's even more infuriating is that my daughter was removed simply because I had to replace a stolen credit card. Instead of a courtesy call to clarify or rectify the situation, I was sent an email and that's it. Their justification? "They're busy." What a pathetic excuse! Families entrust their kids to institutions like these, expecting professionalism and compassion. It's clear this establishment lacks both.
September 28 · drew231506They have the best coaches! My 3 yr old has severe anxiety with strangers, but a little patience goes a long way! She usually goes to the amazing Ms. Olga's Tuesday morning class, but even when we had a makeup class with Mr. Kurt on Thursday morning she felt comfortable enough to jump right in and follow him and her classmates around the gym. I highly recommend this gym to any parent- especially who has the availability to bring their child during the week when the gym is basically empty!
December 10 · Heather O' BrienI haven't experienced any of what others reviews are saying. It's been quiet for the whole year we've been there not crowed at all.. none of her classes have ever been. We've always been to the 2-3 class and not once had an issue . Sometimes she's been in a class with 2 kids. (Mondays always)Teachers we have are Russians I think husband and wife, they seem very pleasant. I think sometimes my daughter has a hard time understanding. But still gets it . (5yr old)
