The Richmond studio is my favorite—it has such a welcoming vibe, and the instructors are incredibly thoughtful, friendly, and well-trained.The classes are both grounding and challenging in the best way. Yoga Flow with Abigail and Jen are my absolute favorites—they bring great energy and inspiration to every session. Every time I take a class at Folk, my day feels better. Can’t recommend this studio enough!
April 17 · Jonathan isaack q.My roomie introduced me to this spot about a month ago. Very chill vibes! I like how cute and quaint the space is. Welcoming instructors. It’s close to my house so I joined for a new student intro month and have been enjoying it since :)
April 15 · Sabina PesoshinaI've gone to Folk Richmond and Folk NoPA, and had amazing experiences at both! The staff are so kind, they have a wide range of classes from Warm Power Flows to Flow & Restore. I have been going for years now, and haven't had a bad class yet! The Warm Power Flow is my favorite, it's perfect level of heat at around 90 degrees! Rachel Soon, Sonia Beckstrom, and Roy Gan are my favorite instructors!
April 17 · Emma SchwartzThis one-room branch of Folk is a welcoming space with great instructors. Patti's Sunday morning align class has really helped me improve my form as I've started doing yoga regularly this year. Any of Folk's align classes are a gentler, welcoming way for beginners to approach yoga.
May 02 · Ethan BoldI lived right above the Richmond studio location for almost two years and Folk was one of my favorite parts of being in that community. The teachers are lovely and they offer a range of classes. Every time I went, I left feeling a little better than I did before. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great, clean, intentional studio space.
