★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My two children had fun during the 10-week summer program at Firehouse Cheer, but as a parent, I was disappointed. We communicated a planned vacation absence well in advance and were told it wouldn’t be a problem. However, we later learned coaches spoke negatively about my children’s absence in front of others (including the other young athletes) and no one reached out to me directly. I had to initiate a call, and while there was an apology, multiple excuses were made. Communication through their app was poor—many parent messages went unanswered, even on performance day. It seems as though the mentality is “perfection before anything else” including letting the kids have fun. We didn’t appreciate the tone in which the coaches relayed their criticism. There is a way to go about providing constructive feedback and we didn’t feel as though this was embodied. While the kids enjoyed themselves, we won’t be returning due to the unprofessionalism, demeanor of coaches, and lack of effective communication.
August 19 · Carley LI have found the owner to be quite unprofessional, not only with her employees, but the children as well. There is very clear favoritism that runs rampant at this gym. The culture tends to be very “mean girl” feeling and the way the owner “leads” is one of the big reasons for this. The owner has no issue publicly humiliating staff and kids in front of other members and other children. The mentality is win at the cost of everything else…including just being a kid and actually having fun. Multiple times I’ve brought my daughter to tumble, only to find the gym randomly closed with no mention of this on the website. I was told I had to follow multiple Facebook pages to know whether things were cancelled…but then why have a webpage? I will not be bringing my daughter here in the future. There are much better, healthier environments in the area.
March 11 · Bethany OuelletteMy twins first time at FH Toddler Tumble and we are officially groupies. Both are quite shy socially, but Coach Chris has an incredible energy about him and got them so engaged they were making sustained eye contact, coming forward to participate and even talking (above the usual shy whisper). The way he teaches, they are learning more than just handstands and backflips, this is going to be a game changer for building their confidence.
June 04 · Disa FedorowiczSo happy with found this gym. My oldest daughter started there tumbling and made huge strides in her tumbling. This year she has decided to try Firehouse for cheer and she is beyond happy she made the move. Since the first day we walked in the door everyone has been welcoming and supportive. My middle child has begun tumbling there and it has done amazing things for her confidence. I would recommend Firehouse to anyone.
November 09 · Samantha CarrierMy niece hurt herself and had been on this team for a couple years. She hurt herself and was treated poorly after. They were suppose to give the spot back when healed but instead broke a 14 year olds heart on her birthday. No team there just a bratty coach named Jaclyn that probably got picked on in high school hurting other children as a revenge. Go anywhere but here. They run a scam at Christmas as well asking you to buy tickets then give the money to their friends. It’s all a front.
