EVERYBODY Introduce
Introduction / Overview
EVERYBODY, located in North East Los Angeles (NELA), is a highly intentional and non-traditional movement and wellness center that is revolutionizing the conventional gym experience. This women-owned business was founded on the core principles of radical inclusion, diversity, and equity, aiming to provide a safe, supportive environment for all bodies to move, strengthen, and heal—a philosophy that stands in direct contrast to the often-restrictive norms of mainstream gym culture.
The 8,000-square-foot facility is more than just a place to lift weights; it functions as a comprehensive wellness community. It features a fully equipped gym floor, two dedicated movement studios, and essential amenities that prioritize member comfort and respect, including a huge sauna and gender-neutral facilities. What is worth choosing
EVERYBODY is the necessary choice for California residents in the LA area who prioritize a sense of belonging and respect alongside their fitness goals. While some gyms focus solely on size or equipment, EVERYBODY invests heavily in its community and its core values of radical inclusion. It is a genuine safe space that provides an intentionally different experience from "bro-ey" mainstream culture.
What truly sets it apart is the unparalleled combination of physical amenities and community principles. Where else in NELA can you find an 8,000 sq ft facility with a fully equipped gym, a huge sauna, an outdoor training space, and gender-neutral facilities, all within a community that actively models a zero-tolerance policy for discrimination? The option to train onsite or access the vast HOMEBODY library adds unmatched convenience.
Despite some community discussions around the reality of representation—which the business publicly and actively addresses through its values and 'Brave Space' concept—members consistently affirm their positive experience, highlighting the trainers and the supportive nature of the space as reasons to be "super happy" and "thankful." Choosing EVERYBODY means supporting a women-owned, value-driven business that is actively trying to change the fitness industry for the better.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I love this gym. Reading comments below are really disappointing. Yes parking is limited in their lot but the park across the street has more than enough spaces even on a Saturday! Everyone I’ve met here has been incredibly respectful and supportive. I love being able to use their outdoor area and even started working with one of their trainers. Their huge sauna is enough of a reason to join. We need to be thankful for what we can in 2025 and this gym is one of those reasons lol. Super happy to have this safe space in the area ❤️
August 18 · Daliah AmmarI'm not a gym person and wanted to give this a chance after going to the swim event at Occidental College last summer.Pretty white and CIS presenting 🚩As an actual transwoman of color born and raised in NELA -- I didn't see it reflected at the gym and that's disappointing.Didn't see any black folks either🚩🚩I'm sure your intentions are good, but looking at the other low-rated reviews I'm clearly not the only one who has noticed this. And it's a bad look to come after people in your responses (yikes!) Definitely closes the door on coming back after seeing that level of pettiness 😕
June 05 · MouseI have been coming here for about six months now and working with one of the personal trainers, Sonny, throughout that time. I was hesitant about joining the gym because of a lot of the negative reviews but glad I gave it a chance anyway. My partner and I have had a very positive experiences as a members and find the staff to be really sweet. All the other members are very respectful and friendly. At the end of the day every queer space is ultimately what we choose to make of it and I think a lot of the negative comments seem blown out of proportion and a little dramatic. The only real negative about the gym is the parking situation, but alas it’s LA and there’s always parking to be found around the block. I recommend this gym highly and recommend Sonny to anyone seeking a personal trainer!
July 01 · Jake PoteatI am a member of this gym and wanted to address the lack of maintenance on the treadmills and refusal to replace permanently broken machines. For example the treadmill that has no ability to incline has been this way for over a year - closer to two. I flagged it with the front desk staff months ago, and a repairman looked at it one time as far as I know, but the problem persists. Placing a sticky note on the treadmill does not solve anything. If the proper measure is to replace the treadmill, then that should happen.Additionally, the treadmill next to the stairmaster has had a repair in progress sign on it for a week. I understand a day or two, but a week?It feels like Everybody is cutting costs (evident in the Sparkletts machine being removed from outside), but we as members of the gym shouldn’t suffer because of these poor choices.
July 25 · Madison PrinceI love this place. It's a friendly neighborhood gym where everyone is welcome! I've been to many other gyms where guys stared at me and made me feel uncomfortable being there. None of that here. Love that half the gym is outside too, it's so nice.
