Enso Pilates Introduce
In the search for a workout routine that builds strength, improves flexibility, and centers the mind, many New Yorkers are turning to Pilates. Among the city's diverse fitness landscape, Enso Pilates in Brooklyn stands out as a true gem. This studio isn't just another place to exercise; it's a dedicated sanctuary for classical Pilates. Inspired by the Japanese concept of Enso, a symbol representing wholeness, balance, and imperfection, the studio embodies a philosophy that goes beyond physical training. It's a place to embrace your personal journey, celebrate progress over perfection, and find harmony in both body and mind. For those living in the city's fast-paced environment, Enso Pilates offers a much-needed retreat where you can focus on yourself in a peaceful and beautiful setting.
What distinguishes Enso Pilates is its commitment to the classical Pilates method. This approach, rooted in the original teachings of Joseph Pilates, emphasizes precision, control, and a deep connection between the mind and body. Unlike some modern variations that can feel more like high-intensity workouts, classical Pilates focuses on building a strong, stable core as the foundation for all movement. The studio is well-equipped with a full range of classical apparatus, including the reformer, cadillac, and tower, which are essential for a comprehensive and holistic Pilates journey. The instructors are not only highly trained but also passionate about the method, providing hands-on assistance and expert guidance to help you perfect your form and maximize the benefits of each exercise.
The atmosphere at Enso Pilates is one of its most remarkable features. It combines the rigorous integrity of classical Pilates with the cozy, welcoming vibes of Brooklyn. As a women-owned business, the studio has fostered a supportive and friendly community where clients feel at home. The clean, well-lit space, complete with a skylight and picture windows overlooking a quiet courtyard, creates a serene and inspiring environment. It’s a place where you can escape the noise of the city and truly tune into your body. This sense of peace and community is what makes Enso Pilates more than just a place to work out; it’s a space for personal growth and well-being.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1So excited to finally see a Real Pilates opening in Brooklyn! I had a great experience here. The studio is your signature real Pilates with cozy Brooklyn vibes. They also have a cute garden that you can hang out. Definitely will come in again!
September 09 · Yuan LiaoI love that the studio offers tower group classes which are so rare and I especially love Kylee’s classes on Thursdays because she teaches intermediate exercises like swan, parakeet and teaser with the push down bar. She is excellent at correcting my form and provides hands on assistance to everyone. Sometimes Tower classes underutilize the equipment and feel more like a mat class, not the case with Kylee. I highly recommend everyone to try the Cadillac / tower class with her. It’s also a beautiful, clean studio with a skylight and picture windows facing a quiet courtyard in the back.
June 12 · Julia ChinnIt is my first Pilates experience, and Renee is such a good and caring instructor. She really cares about precision and wanna me to try my best! The space is lovely! (I love the scent in the restroom 😂) They have a cute garden as well - would be a great place to do some stretching with some fresh air.
August 20 · Haoran DuanIn Booklyn, there are many pilates studios but Enso Pilates is the only place with tower classes. Tower introduced me to a new realm of pilates that provides nice, deep stretches. I also enjoy some nice touches to the studios like candles, complimentary goods, and cute socks
March 14 · GloriaHave been practicing here since soft opening in summer 2023! Very bright, welcoming, and energetic vibe and nice equipment. Tried private, duet, group, workshop so far and all were amazing! Definitely helped a lot with my core strength and flexibility, and made my movement better in other sports and day to day activities. Highly recommend!
