★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Great sculpt classes, but the lack of cleanliness really bums me out. They are in dire need of deep cleaning and maybe some upgrades. It’s just a very gritty, cramped feeling as soon as you walk into the hallway. I usually hold my breath and try to rush past. At least the instructors keep the studio dark. One can only imagine what you’d see otherwise.
August 15 · NDFive stars for CorePower Yoga, but I’d like to provide some feedback. During Elise H today’s class: about thirty minutes after we started, someone knocked loudly on the fire exit door and was let in. The person let in crossed the studio with her shoes on, retrieved a mat from the front desk, and joined the class five minutes later. She didn’t even apologize! This was quite disruptive for everyone, including the teacher, who then forgot to complete the left side of the sequence we were practicing.I feel the teacher could have addressed the situation differently. A gentle reminder about class etiquette, like arriving on time and being mindful of others, would have been helpful—not just for the person coming in but for the rest of us as well. In my experience, seasoned teachers like Corinne or Spencer handle such moments with more grace and guidance, reinforcing the values we practice in yoga both on and off the mat.
November 28 · Diego TrazziI first discovered CorePower Yoga through ClassPass and ended up signing up for a full membership—and honestly, it was because of how great the classes are. They’re consistently challenging, energizing, and well-structured.I especially want to highlight Zoe and Gillian—both are incredibly talented teachers. They’re not only skilled at what they do, but also warm, & welcoming, Their classes are the reason I committed to the membership. If you’re looking for a spiritual or meditative yoga experience, this might not be the place for you. CorePower leans more toward a high-intensity workout with elements of Pilates, strength training, and core work—especially in the sculpt classes using weights. But if you’re after a great sweat and strong results, this is it.
June 03 · Amal M. LevinI’ve been working out for years and am obsessed with this type of workout. Having lived in LA, with an abundance of studios and amazing teachers, I know what a legitimate and top notch studio is. That said I do like corepower - the sculpt class is a great workout and most of the teachers I’ve had are good. However, this location, is really pushing it with the number of people they accept into a class. I’m fine with being in a full class but I’m not OK when yoga mats are literally overlapping and I can’t do the positions because either someone’s foot is going to hit my head or mine will hit someone’s. The class last night - there were so many people shoved into this room that the markers on the floor indicating where yoga mats should line up were pointless. How is that allowed? Separately, I’m not convinced the studio is properly cleaned.I see other reviews complaining about the same so maybe the studio will consider feedback and do something about it.In the meantime, I’ll go to the Palo Alto location during less popular times and I’ll go to the Redwood City location where there’s more room, spacing is adhered to and it’s much cleaner.
February 06 · SarahI’ve been to 5-6 CP studios and this is the one that I felt it needs a deep clean. The walls, cracks and floors are moldy. It smells like BO once u enter and the studio is musty. They do wipe the floors in the studio after class, but it’s not enough. I’ve been to CP classes for years, and I’d hate to switch to another studio in the area due to serious uncleanliness.
