CorePower Yoga - Nob Hill Reviews
I usually go to this studio as a ClassPass member and have been there about 3-4 times. I reached the studio at 8.01 and the front desk lady saw me and just walked away, while locking the door on me. I kept knocking the door to let me in but she had gone into the studio. I kept knocking and then she returned around 8.08 saying she’s not allowed to open the door and I was shocked because this has never happened to me before. She said the instructor came in at 8.05 so she cannot open the door. How does that make any sense? Infact there was more time for me to get in and settle in while the instructor started her class. Really disappointed and annoyed as it was a 8 am class. Never going into this studio again. I also had a weird experience with one of the instructors here, where she kept pointing at me constantly that was I wasn’t doing the moves right, and it was my first time attending her class. But I didn’t think much of it at the time because every instructor is different and it’s fine. Ofcourse I wouldn’t get it right but I tried really hard and completed it. Anyways, I’ve not had a good experience with this studio overall.
June 06 · Sharayu KarkeraFirst time trying CorePowerYoga, and don’t have a good level really, but the team will make you comfortable and help you in the process, thank you to Emily to make me feel accepted for my first class C2. Also, for people like me it will be great to have C1 classes during the week and be able to get into C2 more comfortably and learning to position my body better with an instructor, that will be really really great 🙏🏻😊
February 18 · Asma el boujamaaiGreat spot, easy to get to, nice neighborhood, excellent instructors, lockers with complimentary locks you can borrow, clean change and shower rooms. BTW, the few reviews with low scores here are so odd they are worth reading for a chuckle, just to see how petty and judgy some people can be 🤣🤣
February 06 · Tony C.Prefer this location. Has single stall restrooms which is awesome especially for trans and non-binary folks. Clean studio. Friendly staff. Good instruction, variety, and frequency of early (6:30am) classes which make it a preferred studio. Location offers what other CPY studios do not. =)
March 21 · Kelly J. Kelly1. Are all the instructors fantastic? Absolutely and that’s pretty much all that really matters! thank u for keeping my third eye wide open.2. Is the new morning schedule (615/630am) life-changing? 100%. I suspect the only people who consistently *paid* to go at 545am were a strong minority of super-humans and/or sociopaths. On the other end of the spectrum was 7/715am, which was great...for the equally rare, mythically chill folk who can roll into work at a soft 10 and be fully cool about it.3. Is it the nicest Corepower studio in the world? No, the rooms are windowless beige boxes but that is ok. Even though some people say the fluorescent lights in there “drain the soul”, those people obviously have flimsy souls.
