When considering a yoga studio in Washington, D.C., CorePower Yoga on H Street presents a compelling option, but it's important to weigh its strengths and weaknesses. The primary reason it is worth choosing is its team of "phenomenal" and "above and beyond" instructors. The quality of the teaching is a consistent positive, with teachers who are dedicated to providing a great class experience. The variety of classes, particularly the signature heated and Sculpt classes, offers a challenging and effective workout that many people love. The studio’s commitment to being an inclusive space, welcoming the LGBTQ+ community and providing a safe space for transgender individuals, is a significant benefit. However, it's also important to consider the feedback from some members. The reviews point to ongoing maintenance and cleanliness issues, such as an unsanitary floor, a non-functional water fountain, and broken speakers. These are valid concerns that prospective members should be aware of, as they can detract from the overall experience. While the instructors are praised for doing their best to work around these issues, the professional and functional nature of the studio's facilities may not meet everyone's expectations given the price point. If you are someone who values a challenging class and the expertise of an instructor above all else, and you are willing to overlook potential facility issues, then this CorePower Yoga location could be a good fit. Ultimately, it is the talent of the instructors and the dynamic class offerings that stand out as the main reasons to choose this studio for your hot yoga practice.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Instructors are all phenomenal and the classes that I have taken have been above and beyond! but studio is disgusting. There’s always hair on the ground or in the cubbies, floors are very unsanitary, and the water fountain either flows water SUPER slow or doesn’t work at all. I had a 6am Sculpt/C3 class today and I needed to refill my water and there was no water. I even settled to grab water from the sink (yuck) but the water there wasn’t even working!!!!! The studio didn’t even have water bottles in stock. This is my intro month with the studio but I highly doubt that I will renew my membership next month unless they address these issues.
January 16 · Zoleiry HernandezThis studio is not worth the price point. Go to a yoga studio that is clean, has functioning speakers, and doesn't change the classes (or even cancel them) with no notice (and no refunds). It's so unprofessional. On a positive note - the instructors (not subs) are usually fine; most of them really do their best to creatively fix broken speakers and explain why the studio is so dirty.....
July 24 · Susan DubersteinAlex's class was wonderful and the gym is beautiful. The sculpt class was hard AF, but I never felt judged for taking breaks and the flow of the instructor was comfortable and well guided. Alex kept calling the class "Friday" when referring to us as a group, which I really enjoyed. We all have our own Buddha based on whichever day of the week you were born. I'm Friday, which comes with a unique set of characteristics and she reminded me of "Who I Am" LOVE!! Will be back soon!
August 13 · Leandra SlaytonJeff is one of my favorite sculpt instructors here! Love the new management too. Excited for more community events and specials.
July 07 · Erin McNabbI love CorePower but I wish this location would offer more classes. Also, the studio was very dirty and could use a good Swiffer dry mop. The locker room was gross and there was dust and hair all over the floor in the studio, which then got on me when I was in class. Didn't appreciate that.
