The experiences of local patrons highlight both the strengths and potential challenges of the studio. One customer praised the studio for being "always so clean" and the instructors for being "very friendly." They noted that the teachers are supportive and helpful, meeting students "wherever you are" in their yoga practice. This positive feedback speaks to the welcoming atmosphere and the quality of instruction. However, another review brings up a serious concern regarding communication and class management. This individual described a frustrating experience where a class was unexpectedly canceled without an online notification, leading to a wasted trip. This review serves as a reminder that while the quality of the classes and the studio itself can be excellent, operational consistency can sometimes be an issue. These contrasting experiences provide a balanced view, showing that when the studio operates smoothly, it delivers a high-quality experience that leaves members "hooked."

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I signed up for the 2:30 Core Power strength with Elisabeth on August third. When I showed up ten minutes early the door was locked. I called Core Power and the man on the phone told me “You’re the only student so she must not have come and that she hadn’t registered it as a canceled class online or as an emergency.” He said “we won’t charge you for missing this class” and I was like, yes- obviously bc I am the one here and not the instructor. I live in Mount Pleasant so it was a real waste of time to bike over- an hour round trip. I tried Core Power like five years ago and have never been back until now bc of things like this … like as an instructor you’re not a child, it’s your job. If you don’t want to come in bc there is only one student, at least cancel the class online .
August 03 · Elle BeeCorePower has me hooked! I came for the first time in August and had the best experience. The studio is always so clean and the instructors are very friendly. They will help you with your yoga practice wherever you are. I would definitely recommend this studio!!
December 21 · Rory MerrillI love (heated) CorePower but the heat at this location (the only location accessible to me given my location and work schedule) has been broken for several weeks. At first they noted that the classes were UNHEATED on the schedule but then they stopped being so diligent. I showed up for a class that was not heated and it was cold & muggy in the room. Really unpleasant experience. Then they got these rented(?) portable heaters that raise the temperature to somewhere in the 70s but add so much humidity that you can’t see anything in the mirror after the first 10-15min of class (essential!) and the floor is so slippery at the end of class that it could cause a serious injury to someone exiting. Instructors joke about it. It’s again very muggy and unpleasant, like sitting in someone else’s sweatI understand that things happen and maintenance always comes up, but they aren’t marking the classes as UNHEATED when they should because the portable heaters just don’t work. I’m disappointed and feel like I wasted my membership money. It’s misleading and I won’t return until the classes are actually heated (but I won’t know when that is because they don’t communicate honestly)
December 30 · Andy TablesMy experience with Core Power began at Glover Park! Sculpt got me hooked from the beginning, and now I am on in sculpt teacher training. The class has made my body so much more toned and is a motivating way to lift weights with other high intensity activities! I also enjoy C2's and HPF classes to deepen my yoga practice. I love the warm, small studio vibe. Each class is different dependent on the teacher, and I enjoy the various strengths of each teacher. Sarah Freedman, Kalli, and Julia- I really enjoy your classes!
January 03 · Lauren LegumI love this studio and I love that they have side mirrors as well! It’s super clean and organized. Everyone’s very friendly too. I tried a free week this summer and since then I’m in love with Sculpt! I go to the studio every other day and every time is so exciting. The app is super friendly and easy to track my practices too.The only problem is that the Black Tag Membership is WAY TOO expensive!!! There should be a package for 6 months or 1 year with cheaper prices otherwise it’s not affordable for many people unfortunately.
