July 18 · Marisa GStudio is awesome! Instructors are amazing and the manager Cynthia helped me with getting into class with no problems. I was visiting and wanted to try out Club Pilates. Jenn called me to confirm my class time and made sure I was ready.
July 15 · Sara DI’ve been here for a little over a month and I have to say, I already see more flexibility with my body. I have neck and spinal issues for reference. I’ve debated going to Pilates for probably a year now thinking “will this actually help? Does it even make a difference?” Thank you god, it absolutely does!!! This location is SUPER clean and the staff is nice. I adore all the instructors I’ve had so far. They really do seem to care and want to help.The only downside of this space is they ALWAYS have their classes SUPER full!!! 99.999% of the time there is a waitlist. Unless you book your classes a month in advance, which if you know your schedule - it makes things easier. I called them though when I was having an issue booking because everything was so full, and some way they were able to get me into a class. I do wish though, that they would add more classes throughout the day. I think it would help a lot of people and their frustration, especially since the monthly rate isn’t cheap. But if you could get a class, you will be hooked!!
May 02 · Naomi44Horrible experience - do not recommend. Never having done Pilates before, I signed up at level one. I paid $250 for 8 classes a month and I couldn't book a class because they were all full and the waitlist is often over 7 people and I was outright told if the waitlist is over 4, don't bother because you won't get in. They offer very limit level one classes and some days, the classes are during 9-5 work hours so it's not even an option I could choose. I tried to cancel after my first month because I literally couldn't get into a class and I was told I'd have to adhere to the 3 month mandatory commitment as per the contract even though I was literally explaining that I can't get into a class. One of the receptionists told me to call when I can't get into a class and she will get me in. I said "Doesn't that mean someone else will be kicked out? I can't do that to someone" and she said, "Don't worry about it. It's not your problem, it's not like they'll know it was you". I then tried to explain via email that calling every time I need to book a class is an inconvenience. I'm incredibly busy and everything I said above PLUS having to call for every booking is too much. I was told I could cancel my membership early for $100 fee and when I said I wasn't willing to do that, they stopped answering my emails until I followed up with how disappointed I was. I ended up telling them to drop me to the lowest membership because I wasn't willing to spend $250 for the next two months and I said please email me back to confirm the change, which they did. I waited out the mandatory two months I had left, and emailed them to cancel my membership over two weeks before being charged for month 4, and they said no, you need to cancel 30 days in advance so you will be charged for the 4th month. Mind you, I had a month and a half worth of credits still because I wasn't able to get into classes even checking as far as 3 weeks in advance. I had to call my bank and send them all the emails, which also show the company stopped responding to me after telling me they wouldn't cancel my membership. It's such a shame because I liked the workout overall and I have nothing negative to say about the instructors, they are lovely.
April 11 · Justine CarucciI took my wife today to sign up for club pilates. The general manager jason Daniel's was amazing. He was extremely informative about pilates and the classes. They will be opening Feb 13th 2020. The inside looks great. They still have minor details to construct. The atmosphere speaks pilates. My wife was so happy to sign up.They have unlimited pilates classes a month for $279. Which is an amazing price bc pilates with the machines is expensive.It is located at staten island mall, right next to Dave and busters.
