★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Great first experience back at Club Pilates after 2 years off while completing Nursing School. First class back was with Rachel. I remember Rachel, she is a great instructor - very clear with her instructions and guidance, ensures proper safety for everyone and makes sure we’re all feeling comfortable throughout the class. She’s very kind and you can tell how passionate she is about her work and wants everyone to do better and improve with each class they take. I jumped right back into a Center+Balance 1 class and with her instructions I felt like I never even missed a beat.
June 12 · SoniaAbsolutely love going to club Pilates. All instructors make everybody feel comfortable at every level. Did a class today with Melanie, a body sculpt something new to me, but was a wonderful experience. I will definitely be rebooking that class.
August 12 · Dawn GioI’ve done 18 classes so far and I like it. Taken most of them with Karen, she’s great. She’s very upbeat and positive. Everyone is welcoming, nice, supportive, and helpful. I came with hip bursitis and lots of aches/pains…it is definitely helping me. I do feel stronger. Thank you.
July 07 · Melissa McCarthyLoved Francesca’s class this morning! She gives excellent cues and options for progressions if you so choose. She has a nice transitional flow from one exercise to the next with just enough challenge.
August 07 · Dawnmarie GianelliWanted to share an honest review with both pros & cons from my experience, involving 6 months of membership:Pros: friendly & helpful staff members, clean studio, and solid low impact workouts for improving mobility, balance, etc.Cons: the unlimited monthly membership is expensive & NOT worth it at all for working professionals (people who work 9-5 jobs from Monday to Friday) because realistically the earliest/only option before work is the 6:30 am class which is hard to get into due to limited spots, leading to it almost always being full/having a waitlist unless booked far in advance. Depending on where you are on the waitlist, you might get in, but that’s not guaranteed. Same issue with the after work classes. When you sign up for membership, it requires a 3 month commitment. I initially signed up for the unlimited plan & quickly learned that it wasn’t worth it (due to the limited class timing options & waitlists), but unfortunately there are fees to cancel or change your membership type. They also don’t tell you that if you decide to step down to the 8 classes per month membership, that involves another 3 month commitment. If you’re going to sign up for Club Pilates, the membership option with 8 classes per month is the ideal choice. Still pricey, but you’ll get what you’re paying for (unlike the unlimited monthly option). Also wasn’t a fan of the 12 hour cancellation policy compared to 8 hour cancellation policies at other gyms like OrangeTheory, which is more reasonable. OTF has way more class timing options & spots available in classes at a lower monthly price for unlimited classes. From what I observed, most of the people who attend Pilates classes are young women who are already very fit/working on getting toned and some older women who are working on their mobility/aging gracefully. Pilates may not be the best place for you if your fitness goals involve trying to get back in shape and/or lose weight, especially postpartum.Overall, I’m glad I tried it & perhaps I’ll be back in the future when Pilates aligns with my personal fitness goals, but now I know what to keep in mind. Hope this helps everyone make an informed decision about whether to join & what to be aware of when joining!
