Chicago School of Yoga used to offer a week of free yoga, but *sigh* they are going to a membership only model. That being said, if you can afford a nicer yoga studio, the intimate class sizes, well kept locker room, free samples, and excellent teachers should be a draw. When I went, I tried the free yoga and my teacher, Kelsey, was the best I have ever experienced. She adjusted every member of the class and did counterposes to balance the poses she had us complete. The studio was quiet and had a relaxing atmosphere. She also put together the best sequence of poses and left me feeling completely at ease. I wish I could pony up $79 a month for unlimited yoga, but alas, student loans make that impossible. I definitely recommend it though!
November 07 · kate swemMy review is for the teacher training - I absolutely loved the teacher training and the instructors, especially David! My 3 star review is for the "management" or "Founder". Beware of hidden costs and an uncomfortable space, which was being shared with a Jiu Jitsu gym. They don't offer yoga classes, so you will have to go elsewhere to get your observation hours. This also posed a problem for getting practice teaching, you miss out on a valuable opportunity to teach community classes.

January 18 · braulio figueroa romeroIf you want small class and more one-on-one help from instructor...this is the one for you. I had enjoyed the yoga class with only four other students. Thus the instructor had corrected my posture and alignment which was really helpful. I plan to take more classes here and go stop by at Cookie Bar across the street.
