Cardio High Introduce
Are you a resident of Auburndale, Massachusetts, or the greater Boston area looking for a gym experience that truly stands out? If you've struggled with finding the motivation to work out on your own or prefer a more structured and guided approach to fitness, Cardio High may be the perfect solution for you. Located conveniently in Auburndale, Cardio High is a unique gym that specializes in small, trainer-led classes. This isn't a traditional gym with rows of machines; instead, it's a dynamic and supportive environment designed to push you to your limits while ensuring you receive the personal attention needed to succeed. The classes are built to help you "turn off your brain" and simply focus on the workout, leaving the planning and motivation to the expert trainers.
The unique format of Cardio High’s classes is what makes it so effective. By limiting class sizes to a maximum of eight clients, they ensure that every individual gets a high level of personal attention. This is a crucial distinction from larger, more impersonal gyms. The trainers are highly knowledgeable and are always there to provide guidance on proper form, particularly during strength training exercises with dumbbells. This focus on form is essential for both maximizing results and, more importantly, preventing injuries. Members have consistently highlighted the expertise of the trainers, who make sure everyone is executing exercises correctly and safely.
Beyond the guided workouts, Cardio High offers an engaging and motivating atmosphere. The use of Polar heart rate monitors, with real-time data displayed on a large TV, adds an element of friendly competition and accountability. Seeing your heart rate and calories burned in real time encourages you to push harder and strive to spend more time in the "yellow and red zones" of your workout. This data-driven approach not only helps build endurance and burn more calories but also provides a tangible measure of your effort and progress. It’s a powerful tool for those who thrive on seeing results and challenging themselves.

The trainers provide individualized feedback and modifications, ensuring each client gets a personalized experience tailored to their needs.
- Resistance Training: This is a core component of their workouts, helping clients build strength, tone muscles, and improve overall physical performance.
- Strength Training: A key focus area, with trainers guiding clients on proper form and technique to ensure safe and effective strength gains. The use of dumbbells is central to these sessions.
- Online Classes: For added flexibility, Cardio High offers online classes, allowing you to get a great workout from the comfort of your own home, maintaining your fitness routine even when you can't make it to the gym in person.
Cardio High is distinguished by several key features and highlights that set it apart from other fitness centers in the area.
- Small Class Sizes: With a maximum of 8 clients per class, every participant receives a high degree of personal attention and guidance from the trainer.

- Injury Prevention Expertise: The gym's owner and trainers are highly knowledgeable about injury prevention. They are adept at modifying workouts for clients who are nursing an injury, even incorporating physical therapy-like exercises to strengthen specific areas. This is a huge benefit for those concerned about their body's well-being.
- Performance Monitoring: The use of Polar heart rate monitors provides real-time data on performance, which helps members stay motivated and track their progress.

Why is Cardio High worth choosing for your fitness journey? It’s simple: it’s a gym for people who might not consider themselves "gym people." If you lack motivation or get overwhelmed by large, crowded fitness centers, Cardio High provides a structured, supportive, and highly effective alternative. The small class size ensures you get personalized attention, almost like personal training, but within a group setting that is both motivating and fun. The trainers, including the owner, are not only experts in fitness but are also deeply committed to injury prevention and catering to individual needs, making it a safe space to push your limits.
The benefits of joining extend beyond just the physical workout. Members have reported significant improvements in their cardio strength and overall fitness, with one person even noting an amazing difference in their performance while training for a half-marathon. The sense of community and the non-judgmental atmosphere are key reasons why people stick with Cardio High for years, a testament to the positive and lasting impact it has on their lives. It's a fantastic choice for anyone in the Auburndale and surrounding Massachusetts area looking to build strength, increase their cardio performance, or simply stay in shape in a welcoming and expert-led environment.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Do you hate working out and have absolutely no motivation to ever do it on your own, despite knowing you really should? Then join Cardio High! They only host classes led by a trainer so you can just come, turn off your brain, go hard for an hour, and leave feeling proud that you are improving your health and getting into the best shape of your life. The classes only allow a maximum of 8 clients so everyone receives lots of personal attention from the trainer. Each trainer is very knowledgeable and will make sure you have good form handling the dumbbells during strength training. You can wear a Polar heart rate monitor and keep an eye on the big TV mounted on the wall that shows everyone's heart rates and calories burned. Pushing yourself to get as much yellow and red zone as you can will build endurance and burn more calories. If you have an injury, come to one of Mark's classes where he will guide you through physical therapy exercises that can strengthen shoulders, knees, elbows, etc.
June 24 · Irene ParkI am not a gym person, but Cardio High is the one gym I've consistently attended over the past 5 yrs. The owner is very knowledgeable about injury prevention and he modifies workouts for anyone nursing an injury. I've used it for cross-training when I was training for a half-marathon and the difference in my cardio strength was amazing! The instructors are equally as knowledgeable and it's a fun, non-judgmental atmosphere. It's a fantastic workout for anyone looking to build strength, increase their cardio performance, or just stay in shape. Love it here!
January 26 · Lisa HolahanI started at Cardio High about a year and a half after having my twins, and have really enjoyed the workouts and getting back into the gym. The classes allow you to go at your own pace, yet the High Intensity Interval Training helps you stay on track and pushes you to reach your personal goals. Between the Cardio and strength training, I finish every workout feeling accomplished.
March 20 · Winnie RunyonI started Cardio High a little over 3 months ago and dropped 20+ pounds. - It really works. The instructors are all positive, knowledgeable and not overenthusiastic. I appreciate the individual attention I have received, with advice (and special exercises) on sports injuries and how to reach my goals. Its an adult workout space - I could not recommend it more.
January 10 · john colangeloI started going to Cardio High three months ago, and I love it. Within a couple of weeks, I could already notice a difference in my body and so could my family/friends. The workout goes by really quickly because you are doing a new block every four minutes, or sometimes every two minutes, and then also within each block there is a lot of variety. Sometimes the exercise changes every 20 seconds, sometimes every 45 seconds, etc. This keeps things interesting and it makes it do-able to keep going without dying on one particular exercise, but by the end you have an amazing all-body work-out. The trainers are all fantastic; they know each client and tailor exercises if you need any modifications. They each have their own style, so you can get some variety throughout the week, but they all make sure that everyone has proper form. Also, I like the mix of people - everyone from college athletes to empty nesters. It is such a welcoming community, which gives even more motivation to keep at it. Finally, I love that the classes are small and that you are welcome to go inside early to stretch or stay after to stretch.
