★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Overall great special olympics event and friendly staff, however there was an incident where a volunteer with a name tag “Howard” had harassed my friend through close physical contact multiple times and left her feeling uncomfortable. The event occurred on 6/22/25 and he was wearing a gray and purple shirt and black sandals.
June 22 · Charlie PUgh! I really like this gym but it’s hard to enjoy it and get my work outs done because of the stress of the hours currently. I think at this point or maybe next year the university needs to put the normal hours back, because what is going on exactly and why is is so hard for the university to acknowledge students concerns, it’s like we pay so much money here and this is what we have to deal with? Ugh so over it honestly, hopefully the normal hours will back at some point and maybe I’ll consider giving 5 stars.
November 26 · Yt and stream ShineHours are so inconvenient. The fact that I’m a student paying for this and yet they make the hours impossible for a student to go to is insane.
August 09 · RexLots of options and very clean, can get busy at times. Staff are super responsive and helpful. A group fitness instructor gave my spot away before the 5 minute grace period and I put in a complaint since I was penalized despite coming only 2 minutes late. They swiftly responded and took my penalty off my account, so overall awesome gym!
March 12 · Brittney LunaI started going to Burdick Hall after getting really bored with my home workouts. Even if i have nothing else to compare it to, I'm so glad this gym was the first one i tried! My workouts never feel stale because of the wonderful equipment variety, and everyone I've met is super friendly. Only downside is that it gets super busy during the school semester, so it's best to attend early in the morning before classes start. It can also be a little overwhelming because everyone is super buff and the equipment looks intimidating, but everyone is really chill and it's easy to find help if you ask around.
