BODYROK UNION SQUARE STUDIO Introduce
For many New Yorkers, finding a workout that is both effective and efficient is the ultimate goal. In a city where every minute counts, a fitness routine that delivers significant results in a short amount of time is a game-changer. BODYROK UNION SQUARE STUDIO has quickly become a go-to destination for those seeking a high-intensity, low-impact workout that redefines the traditional Pilates experience. This isn't your average slow-paced class; it's a dynamic, full-body sculpting session that utilizes a custom reformer to push your muscles to their limit. This article will provide a detailed overview of what makes BODYROK a standout choice for fitness enthusiasts in the city, from its unique workout style to its welcoming community.
BODYROK's approach to fitness is a hybrid of Pilates, strength training, and cardio, all packed into a powerful 45-minute class. The core of the experience lies in their custom-built reformers, which are designed to allow for quicker transitions and more dynamic movements than a traditional Pilates reformer. This means less downtime and more time under tension, leading to a sweat-fueled workout that promises to challenge every muscle in your body. The studio environment itself is part of the experience, with state-of-the-art lighting and a pumping, high-energy playlist that keeps you motivated from start to finish. This combination of music, lighting, and a fast-paced class format creates an immersive workout that feels more like a dance party than a traditional exercise session.
Instructors at BODYROK are a key component of the studio’s success. As confirmed by numerous positive reviews, they are known for their infectious energy and their ability to provide clear instructions and hands-on corrections. They are particularly skilled at helping new clients feel comfortable with the equipment and perfect their form, ensuring that every movement is as effective as possible. This personalized attention, even in a group setting, is a significant highlight. It’s clear that the staff is dedicated to helping clients feel supported and challenged, whether it’s their first time on a reformer or they're a seasoned veteran. The result is a workout that leaves you feeling accomplished, supported, and energized, making you eager to return for more.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Alex is such an amazing instructor, I’ll definitely be back to take her class again! She had the best playlist, infectious energy and was super helpful. She taught me how to get comfortable with the reformer and helped perfect my alignment so that I was getting the best workout possible.
March 13 · kazmirah gratzIt was my first time trying Pilates, and I had such a great experience. The instructor (Grace) was amazing. She paid close attention to my form and kindly corrected any exercise I was doing wrong. I really appreciated how quickly she helped me adjust the equipment so I could keep moving without losing momentum. I left feeling challenged, supported, and excited to come back.
August 14 · Stephania Arellano Vivasit was my first time doing pilates ever! the instructor haley was super welcoming and helpful and patient with me!! loved the atmosphere too felt like i was at a night club! my abs never been so sore! definitely coming again
August 21 · Gabby GonzalezLongtime lagree/mega former girl here. I’ve done solidcore, SLT, Form50, etc…Really wanted to like BodyRok but had a few real concerns. First and main concern was the lack of safety strap on the machine! My entire class took place on the back platform and there is NO SAFETY STRAP like at other studios even though there is a safety trap on the front platform! People around me were either falling off (potentially really really injuring themselves!) their machines or not doing exercises correctly to avoid falling. Really unsafe, and I don’t understand why they wouldnt have a safety strap on bothSecond, the studio was kind of falling apart. Drywall holes in the wall and ceiling plus a really staticky speaker right above me which made the music throughout class unenjoyable. If the workout had been incredible I would’ve given this a pass. Finally, this could be personal preference but there are no assigned machines which means the instructor does not know who you are. She didn’t call out anyone by name or give any corrections which just seemed a little odd to me. You had no idea whether you were doing exercises correctly! (Spoiler alert… people weren’t because they were trying not to break their necks falling off the machine)
March 21 · Kaitlyn PohlyIt is such a cool studio & very personalized even in group classes. Bryan was my instructor and he was super kind and helpful throughout the class. He kept the class moving while also making sure I did not fall behind when I got confused. Loved it!
