Bluegrass Athletics Introduce
For families in Kentucky, finding a gym that offers specialized instruction and a supportive environment for children's athletic development is a top priority. Bluegrass Athletics in Nicholasville is a dedicated gym that focuses on cheerleading and tumbling, providing a unique and valuable service to the community. This is not a typical weightlifting gym; it is a place where young athletes can learn and perfect skills in a structured and encouraging setting. The facility’s mission is to build confidence and character in every athlete, not just to teach them physical skills. The programs are designed to be both fun and challenging, ensuring that kids stay engaged and motivated. One parent noted that their daughter had an "amazing experience," appreciating the fun atmosphere and how it helps her stay active. While a customer review mentioned a perception that more attention is given to older athletes, the focus remains on providing a place where kids can learn and grow. Bluegrass Athletics is a central hub for the cheer and tumbling community, offering a place for young people to thrive both physically and socially.

- Dedicated Instructors: A parent’s review highlighted the "adequate number of instructors" who provide individualized instruction. While another review felt that there was a lack of adult coaching for younger students, the gym's goal is to ensure that kids get the one-on-one training they need to succeed.

Bluegrass Athletics Reviews
My daughter recently began gymnastic classes here, and she's had an amazing experience thus far. They've got an adequate number of instructors, which allows the kids to get the individualized amount of instruction and one on one training. It's a very fun time for my 8 yr old and helps her stay active, so I anticipate that we'll be coming here for the forcible future! Their prices at Bluegrass Athletics are comparable to most other similar typs facilities, with the exception of having NO REGISTRATION FEES!!!
June 05 · Jessica DI feel more attention goes to the older girls rather then the little one starting out. (My daughter is over 8 but a beginner and has been going there for over 6 months now) but i just get th3 vibe the little ones are there for extra money 🤷♀️ I have never got introduced to her coach or have talked to her coach.. and it's always another student/ young cheerleader coaching her. There has Never been an actual adult coaching her.. The younger ones will go all the way across the gym to do their thing and almost every time she is completley blocked from my veiw to where I can't even see what she is learning and all i have in my veiw is the older girls. side note the gym needs more chairs for the parents.. it was just our 2nd week there and we was having to stand and sit up against wall..we was still on the line where the parents sit we was just at the very end of the line and ironically the week after a sign gets put up right where we was standing saying don't go past that bar 😆 we wouldn't of went past it if there was more chairs and i dont see why a sign was even put up bc it was no where near the girls.. Thirdly, anyone looking into just gymnastics this is mainly a cheerleader gym.. no bars or kelps. Considering switching to legacy due to all or the above...
March 27 · JessieMy 12 year old daughter had never done cheer or tumbling until a year and a half ago at this gym. Adam, Shannon, Christi, & Zac have been amazing helping her with her conditioning, tumbling, and stunting skills. This gym started their first All Star Teams this past season competing in/out of town taking home trophies wherever they go. Now she has a passion for the sport. I highly recommend Bluegrass Athletics to those new to the sport and those who want to take their skills to the next level. My daughter went from not knowing how to do a back handspring a year and a half ago to now throwing a FULL! THANKS BLUEGRASS ATHLETICS for the love, passion, and patience you give to your Cheer Families!
May 07 · Christine AquinoLove the people and the coaches. The facilities are always clean and happy. This is a no-nonsense gym. I just wish they were closer. We drive almost 40 minutes to be here.
