★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I just moved to Louisville for a short time and the team at Barre3 - Frankfurt was so incredibly welcoming. From a hand-written welcome card to an easy trial sign-up process, this is truly an awesome place. Couldn't say enough good things!
August 26 · Olivia MonroeBarre3. My first review for them was in 2015, when they opened. I came for a Yelp event and I’m proud to say I’ve been a regular since then. Now, I’m not someone who sticks with a particular workout regimen, gyms are not my style. However, Barre3 is different. It is a combination of yoga, Pilates and barre founded by Sadie Lincoln. (Also a great listen on “How I Built This” on the origins of the company.) I’ve been coming here for 7 years. I’ve done community classes, I’ve bought class packages, I’ve done live steam and been in the studio. What I’m most thankful for is that this is a welcome, opening community. You are welcomed every time you come to the studio. Anyone is welcome to join. I’ve had friends join me who felt the body positivity during the class and felt welcomed. They frequently do community classes in locations like Paristown or at Work the Metal. I’ve enjoyed these classes too as an opportunity to share Barre3 with friends. In the spring/fall, they typically do class pack sales where I purchases classes so I can come and go as I can. I haven’t done the monthly membership only because it is hard for me to go on workdays. The instructors (Abby, Mel, Kelly, Emily, Becca) have all been amazing. They have different styles and I workout something new every time. This community makes me happy and makes me feel like I belong. It has taken me so long to find a fitness community that does that for me. I’m so glad Barre3 has been here for 7 years, and cheers and gratitude to more.
October 30 · Monalisa TailorSimply the best studio to escape and move for you! Whether you want to work on strength, cardio, get out of your head, or a little bit of everything, barre3 classes meet you where you’re at. Love this space and the people who make the magic happen. 🧡
August 08 · Tara Gardner PerryIf you're looking for a great, well-rounded workout, I can't recommend Barre3 enough. Every instructor brings great energy, encouragement, and guidance in each class. They provide modifications to help tailor the workout to what your body needs, and you'll come out of class sweaty and strong regardless of how many you take! The community is so welcoming and encouraging - I've made so many friends here and it's fun to work out with them each week!
August 13 · Erica SI love this studio! They always have some sort of deal happening, I don't have children but they have child care, they have showers, and my favorite part is that a lot of the instructors provide so much information during workouts. I've never been one who enjoys motivating statements, but I love when they explain where in your body you should be feeling the challenge. They give a lot of verbal reminders if you're needing to adjust yourself and some occasionally help via touch (not without permission). We do a lot of exercises in inclined positions and at first my abs would fatigue and I'd feel it a bit in my back. I've noticed after a few months of going 2-4x per week that I almost never feel it in my back anymore. I am watching my food intake and have lost weight too. I have more energy, my posture is improving. I also do some road cycling and I feel stronger on my bike! All of the front desk staff and instructors are friendly and know my name even though I'm usually quiet, awkward, and tend to keep to myself. The effort is noticed and it feels more inclusive.
