March 15 · Larry Telfor Jr.Just climbed there this evening with 4 kids during open climb. Wasn't too crowded, and enough walls with a variety of challenges to keep the kids engaged. Not a ton of rated climbs, so at a particular difficulty there may be only one or two.Staff did help belay the kids a bit, but would have appreciated more help to keep them on the wall more instead of one at a time with me. Also, admission is cash only so come prepared.Overall, as the only wall in the area, definitely recommend going.
March 21 · Adam BroderickSuper fun place! Not a ton of routes, but perfect to climb. Music can be pretty terrible, not sure who gets to play it but sometimes it's intense rock or metal which isn't really fitting for rock climbing in my opinion. The music really makes the atmosphere and I would love to see it more fitting! Sometimes areas of the walls can be pretty bare, but the people there are nice!
February 15 · Sally JacksonIf you want to rock climb indoors in mid Michigan, this is the place to do it. They are only open during the school year, but you don't have to be a student to go. The wall is reasonably high and they have a good number of ropes. Email them if you have any questions, they are quite responsive.
April 23 · Alan “Bruce” Chaput Jr.When is the last time you heard the word “Seminar” and thought, “that sounds fun”? I wouldn’t, however, think Climbing Wall. I really wish I knew of its existence years ago but here we are, 2022 and we only find it after searching Google maps for climbing in the area and randomly coming across it. But, there is a pretty decent climbing/rock/bouldering walls for a small college. First time is free!
