January 09 · Linda ZagerI had been hunting for a yoga studio for some time. I purchased the two week unlimited class pass to give it a go - and went to six classes in the two weeks. As someone who has been in and out of yoga inconsistently for years I was worried and intimidated I wouldn’t be able to keep up. All the instructors have been lovely and every single class offers variations of poses for each ability level. I really enjoy how intimidate of a studio this is. These are small classes, with a neighborhood feel. The owner has been super responsive when I had a few questions about courses and memberships. At the end of my two weeks I purchased a full membership and continue to visit three times a week. The studio is also conveniently located a block and a half from the redline so the commute is easy.
February 18 · Claire LaJeunesseI took classes with them for 2 weeks, and absolutely loved every session/ instructor! I have been to a few other yoga studios in river north, but liked them the best because of their instructors and smaller class size. Will go back
February 16 · Niharika TAmit put on the perfect ashtanga inspired vinyasa flow class. Kept the spirit of ashtanga without making it too predictable. His adjustments were intuitive and respectful. He chants beautifully and I loved the music choices. It was a classically solid yoga class. While I appreciate power yoga and yoga that goes into the world of “exercise yoga” I love finding studios and teachers that are more pure about the classical practice and still keep it challenging and fresh. Amit does this !
February 26 · Cassandra VitaleYoga Loft is a great studio in the heart downtown run by 2 very impressive and highly experienced owers. Jill runs the yoga department; Tim is in charge of the sculpt/boot camp. Together, they have you covered completely. They run a tight QUALITY ship with tough love challenging classes.
