★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I’ve been a YoBa girlie for years and I love this new location. It’s not far from their original location and the studio is beautiful. I love that they offer a range of class types for a well rounded fitness experience. The instructors are friendly and helpful with form during class. I tried other yoga studios and just never felt as comfortable as I did at YoBa. My favorite class is barre! It’s low impact but still challenging every time.
September 19 · KatherineYoBa is a wonderful place!! The instructors are amazing and encouraging, and the community is welcoming and motivating. The different class types offer good variety while allowing you to build strength, mind-body connection, and functional fitness. It is a great place to improve both your physical and mental health!
September 11 · Madison SasserOBSESSED! I always get a great workout at YOBA studio. My favorite classes are YOBA and Barre.. and my favorite instructor is Teresa (she is super friendly and takes the time to help the class perfect their form). Every class ends with a cold, signature scented towel - which is the best way to unwind at the end of a hot workout. I love both locations, but the RIW location is BEAUTIFUL.
September 03 · Stephanie LyonsI really wanted to like this studio because of it's great location and appealing outer aesthetics. First off, I found the majority of their instructors to be very competent and friendly in their work. Unfortunately, I had a few bad experiences in this studio which is why I'm giving them 1 star. I had to miss one class, which I notified the studio the when I realized I had a medical emergency at hand. They still proceeded to charge me, even though I let them know about the medical emergency, and per their general manager, no exceptions are made even if you have a medical emergency at hand because they don't want to give "preferential treatment to anyone". Most studios I've been to excuse an absence if it's some sort of emergency and not a common occurrence. I have two infants and this policy is not family-friendly as I never know when I'm going to wake up to a sick child that has to stay home from daycare. Secondly, for being somewhat of a newer studio here in Raleigh, their equipment is old and not in the most ideal shape. Their barre mats are pretty smelly; mine at least had a very bad smell emanating from it, so much so that it was distracting me during class. The sliders are old and no longer slide on the wooden floors appropriately and their ankle weights are falling apart, to the point that some of their patrons had to switch them out midclass. For the price and newness of the studio, I would hope for better equipment, a more understanding cancellation policy, and an overall elevated experience. Not for me, Yoba studio.
September 02 · Ruby MendozaI just finished my first month at Yoba and it’s safe to say that I’m obsessed. I was looking for a space with multiple class types and times because I am never doing just 1 type of workout. Yoba is perfect with all their offerings. The space is beautiful and I love all the instructors that I’ve had so far. I have the 8xmonth membership and I think I have to upgrade because that’s not enough!
