Y7 Studio Silver Lake Introduce
Welcome to Y7 Studio Silver Lake, a unique and invigorating yoga studio in Los Angeles that is changing the way people think about heated yoga. This isn't your traditional, quiet yoga class. Y7 Studio offers a dynamic, music-driven, heated Vinyasa experience, often set to a soundtrack of hip hop and other modern music. The studio prides itself on providing a space where you can let go of inhibitions and focus entirely on your practice. The rooms are dark and lit by candles, and, notably, they are mirror-free, which encourages practitioners to turn inward and focus on their own body and breath, rather than comparing themselves to others. This signature approach creates an immersive and powerful workout that is both physically and mentally challenging.
Y7 Studio is a women-owned business that has cultivated a strong following for its unique style and energetic atmosphere. While the style may not be for everyone, as some have noted a preference for a more traditional, relaxing experience, many find the high-energy and challenging format to be exactly what they need. Members have praised the "WeFlowHard" signature class for being both "so fun" and "great for beginner to advanced yogis." This ability to cater to a wide range of skill levels is a testament to the quality of instruction and the thoughtful sequencing of the classes. The studio has also previously offered unique classes like "breathwork and cold plunge," showing a commitment to a holistic approach to wellness.
While the cleaning process of some equipment has been a point of concern for some, Y7 Studio has stated that the safety of their community is a top priority, and they have implemented safety and cleaning procedures in accordance with CDC guidelines. The studio also provides amenities like restrooms, and some locations offer showers with premium products, adding to the overall experience. The overall vibe of the studio is often described as "vibey" and "so LA," offering a cool and memorable experience that is truly on-brand for the city. It's a space that feels authentic and distinct, drawing a crowd that appreciates its modern, urban twist on a classic practice.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Not a fan. I signed up for their 3 class special and after the first class I didn’t want to go back, but I thought I’d give it a couple more tries and try different styles of classes and instructors. Didn’t like any of the classes. I’ve taken a lot of heated yoga classes and this was an experience I left feeling gross, not stronger or more relaxed. After class the cleaning of equipment is left to people taking the class to use a wet wipe. How do you actually thoroughly clean cloth bands with a wet wipe? That feels a bit unhygienic and combining that with a personal unliking to the style of their classes, I won’t be going back.I also was a bit surprised that the products in the bathroom weren’t more mindful, like nontoxic. The parking lot is small, but I personally never had an issue parking. I can see though that it could be during busy classes.
October 05 · Mary LemmerSecond time at this studio and everyone is so great! The first time i did their breathwork and cold plunge class (not offered currently) Yesterday I did their weflow hard signature class! So fun, great for beginner to advanced yogis!
April 04 · Adriana FloresI recently took a Sculpt class with Monica and was really impressed. Even though it was my first class with her, she made me feel welcomed by engaging in a friendly conversation beforehand. Her teaching style was clear and encouraging, keeping the class at a great pace while offering modifications for everyone. Monica’s positive energy made the class enjoyable and left me feeling energized. I’m definitely looking forward to taking another class with her!
April 02 · Tianna ThompsonSuper fun and welcoming studio. The Yoga We Flow Hard Class gives space for you to do your own thing in 2 minute windows once the instructor sets the pace and flow. 3 of us went and had a sweaty enjoyable time while flowing to beats in the heat!
September 05 · Kyle Joseph GrayY7’s space draws you inward and is one of a kind. I’ve enjoyed the diverse approaches that the fantastic instructors bring to the practice, each with their own signature style.I want to highlight Mason’s spiritual/holistic approach to sculpting and her intentional, incremental transition between poses that compels us to slow down, breathe and connect with our body. The intimate space is also a bonus!
