★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I tried to sign my daughter up for a trial class, but the process was confusing and unprofessional. Their website said to call to schedule a trial, but when I called, they just sent me back to the website and to check for availability there. The site showed one spot available, but when I tried to book it, it only let me register for the same day after the class had already happened. When I called again, the staff member said there were actually no spots and two people already on the waitlist (contradicting the website). She admitted they had already called those two people, yet told me I’d have to keep calling back myself instead of offering to follow up — even though they had my info. When I politely said, “No, thank you, it just seems like a lot of effort,” she hung up on me.That showed me they aren’t interested in new customers, and I wouldn’t want my daughter in an environment with such poor communication and customer service.
September 04 · Vivian EscobarMy toddler had been happily enrolled and just received her one-year milestone award earlier this month, so I was surprised when, the following week, her name was missing from the class chart. Naturally, I walked up front to inquire, with my energetic little one confused and wondering why she wasn’t joining her friends. The staff member I spoke to, Jennifer, didn’t seem eager to help, and I had to push a bit to get clarity while also managing my toddler. After some back and forth, she discovered that a payment didn’t process because of a misspelled name/email in their system-so I was never notified and my daughter was removed from the program. Despite this being a system error, we were placed 8th on the waitlist, meaning she’ll likely miss out on the entire summer session. While I understood the system error, I was taken aback by the lack of empathy or effort in resolving it. I was given the name and number of a supervisor, Tabby, and despite leaving a message through my husband who I felt maybe would be dealt with more compassion, weeks ago, we never received a call back. I even followed up again after a mom friend who originally referred us encouraged me to advocate for my child.During the follow-up, another staff member who answered at Lake Forest was more understanding and sympathetic, even pointing out that Jennifer was a floor supervisor herself-which confused me since she escalated it to someone else. I left my name and number again, but still no response.I’m not looking for special treatment-just communication, understanding, and a fair resolution for an error that wasn’t on our end. It’s disappointing to feel ignored, especially when this place had been such a positive space for my child up until now.
May 22 · F CMy daughter practices gymnastics in this terrible environment. Every time she walks into gym. it very stinks. It's just because it's close to our house and my daughter loves gymnastics, so I'm very tolerant. During the class at 5:10 this afternoon, my daughter's face was scratched by the equipment. She came to me crying. She didn't have a coach to accompany the 8-year-old girl at the time. Then I found the coach, his name is Charlie, and he had an indifferent look on his face and didn't even say sorry. Then I found their manager, a lady named Emily, and her attitude was that it was normal for gymnastics to be damaged. I said you put equipment that shouldn't be in this place, causing the child to be injured. She knew it, and she spoke arrogantly. I don't know if she was restricted by us being Asians. In short, this place stinks and the quality of the service teachers is also very poor 👎🏻
February 28 · 66 MimiWe enrolled our child at wildfire Gymnastics in Tustin, but unfortunately, it’s been a very disappointing experience. There are several issues with this facility that parents should be aware of before signing up.First, if your child prefers consistency with their coach, stay away from this place. Coaches are constantly being switched, often every other week. It’s very frustrating for kids who are trying to build trust and progress in their skills. My child was just starting to feel comfortable with one coach, and then they were replaced without any notice or explanation.Second, the facility itself is in poor condition. The building is old and not well-maintained. We’ve seen cockroaches a few times, which is not only unpleasant but also raises concerns about cleanliness and hygiene.Third, the coaching quality varies significantly. Some coaches seem uninterested and distracted—they yawn, look around, and barely engage with the kids. They don’t take the time to correct mistakes or guide the kids through their routines. As a result, the children often just do whatever they want at each station, with little supervision or direction.Overall, while the idea of kids’ gymnastics is great, this place doesn’t meet basic standards for cleanliness, organization, or effective coaching. We’re definitely looking for a better alternative. If you’re considering this gym, I’d strongly recommend exploring other options in the area.
November 26 · MissyMy daughter has been at Wildfire for many years and it has been wonderful! The facility is immaculately maintained, the coaching staff is positive and well trained, the programing is developmentally appropriate, and the cost is fair.
