★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Village Fit is a bit of a unicorn, in all the best ways. Aminta (the owner) has curated an atmosphere of support and positivity. She and her coaching team take the time to explain the logic behind the programming and the intent behind the movements. The programming is approachable and scaleable, and the coaches are great about tailoring movements to adapt to each individual's needs while still allowing everyone there to feel part of the communal workout.I was a self-proclaimed cardio junkie and knew I needed structure to add strength and mobility to my routine. I started that journey with Village Fit's predecessor and have attended VF since its inception. Village Fit's classes challenge me to try new movements, prioritize getting stronger, move with intention, and show up for myself. The workouts are hard but doable, and I usually leave class a sweaty and happy mess. The cherry on top is the great community that attends Village Fit. Classes are filled with fun, smart, and supportive people. As someone who works from home, I've found the VF community to be a real lifeline, for 50 minutes each day I connect with interesting and diverse humans as we make our way through our workouts. I'm so grateful for this special place and its community.
June 11 · jennifer frozenaI have been going to Village fit for last 3 months . And it is the first time in my life I look forward to gym time. I have taken classes with Patrick, Cordell, Amina and Allison. All the coaches are very encouraging but also keep things fun. The routines lets you progress at your own pace . And I really like the class sizes with good space. And the other gym members go out of their way to make you feel welcome.
February 06 · Shelley GoelTakayuki was my coach this morning for my first Senior Strength class - it was a wonderful class!!! It started slowly with the warmup but then it took off! I loved the class - my muscles know it was a real workout and they’re tired but happy!!!
August 19 · Angie SappIt’s been exactly two months since I started working out at Village Fit and the results are beyond my expectations! I simply wanted my clothes to fit better, build up strength for future backpacking trips, find a location close to my home, and classes that worked with my schedule. Owner/Coach Aminta was very responsive to my inquiries, promptly provided rates, and plans that could fit my goals. I decided on 3 sessions of 1:1 coaching and unlimited monthly classes. I found the 1:1 sessions with Aminta helped ease my nerves and have more confidence for group classes. All the class coaches are incredible and have their own style/background AND they are all very accommodating to all fitness levels and stages in life/fitness journey. The folks working out are in classes are very kind, encouraging, and fun. There is never a “right time” to start a program (school/vacation/work/time/money) AND I’m so glad I jumped into the Village Fit Community as it exceeded my expectations, and I can see results.
January 22 · Kristy ComstockPatrick bring experience and enthusiasm to every class.. that's all the more appreciated at those 5:50 classes! I'm pretty new to weight lifting so the "how to's" and eye on form is really helpful. Sometimes it's hard to get out of bed but I never, ever regret going!
