In the vibrant and bustling landscape of New York City, finding a space that offers both a physical workout and a mental escape can be a rare find. VERAYOGA in Brooklyn is a sanctuary that perfectly blends these two elements, creating an experience that is both physically challenging and deeply refreshing. Whether you're a seasoned yogi or a curious beginner, VERAYOGA provides a welcoming and supportive environment to explore your practice and find your flow.
The philosophy at VERAYOGA is built on the belief that a well-rounded yoga practice is a balance of strength, movement, and stillness. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1VERAYOGA Williamsburg is just amazing! I have had classes with different instructors (Jiennie, Lydia, Alyx, August, among others) and they all have been stellar. Each, with their own unique style and always supportive and kind! The rest of the staff is very attentive and responsive. I love how pristine the facilities are at all times. The glacial, lavender-scented towel offered at the end of every session is such a refreshing, top-notch touch! I already associate the scent you perceive once you get in with a wonderful upcoming hot-yoga session! Absolutely recommended!
July 21 · Bibiana Zapata PrietoTochi's class on Sundays is the absolute best. She's a truly gifted teacher. Her class has a wonderful balance of being physically challenging, mentally challenging (it's not always easy to sit in the discomfort of stillness :) and soul fulfilling. I also love Margot's classes. Vera has great facilities - the cool lavender towels at the end of every class are a beautiful touch. I just wish they had more yin and flow options to balance out all of the strength and core classes they've added.
May 22 · Keeley MillerIts a slightly more advanced class for those who want to flex their mental practice .. they have a an A, B & C flow sequence where they let you do a round with no verbal prompting !Great teachers - down to earth and simple clean facilities. But expensive- but worth it.
May 12 · Louisa DArcyClasses at Vera have become a non-negotiable for me - whether I need to slow down or rev up, I always leave feeling better than before. The best hot yoga joint around!
May 02 · Catie SackLove their strength based classes the most, but FLOW is also amazing. Definitely recommend!
