VAURA Pilates offers a dynamic range of classes designed to deliver a full-body workout that challenges you at every level. Our fusion approach combines traditional Pilates with modern athletic training to create a unique and effective fitness experience.
TOTAL: Our signature, all-in-one class, TOTAL is a full-body conditioning workout that combines strength, endurance, and stretch. It is designed for all experience levels, with trainers providing beginner, intermediate, and advanced options for every exercise.
STRETCH: Focused on flexibility and control, this class draws from both Pilates and yoga to improve mobility and flexibility. STRETCH sessions also help build strength, prevent injury, and reduce stress.
CIRCUIT: This is a fusion of strength, HIIT, and stability training. It's a high-energy class with 90-second intervals at multiple stations, designed to maximize your calorie burn and work every muscle group.
FUSION: This class offers a 50-50 split between reformer work and floor-based, functional movements. It's a great combination of strength and conditioning, allowing for the use of heavier weights and a faster pace.
Online Classes: For those who can't make it to the studio, we offer online classes that allow you to get a great workout from the comfort of your home.
VAURA Pilates sets itself apart from traditional gyms and even other Pilates studios with several key features and highlights.
Unique Workout Fusion: The fusion of reformer Pilates with strength and athletic training provides a workout that is far more dynamic and challenging than a standard Pilates class. This innovative approach is designed to produce noticeable results.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Spotted this place on social media and was so excited to give it a try. They promote a fun but challenging workout with dim lights and amazing music - exactly what I was looking for. The studio is kind of hidden, it’s unfortunate the walk way is full of homeless people as you enter. I was confused my first time of where to go once you open the door as the space is downstairs with no signage directing you. The first time I went, I asked for where to go, the front desk did not bother to stand up or give a care it was my first time there. The bathrooms are disgusting. Looks like they haven’t been cleaned in a year. Showers are even worse. The class itself I enjoyed, Tara is an amazing instructor. Keeps the class fun and really challenges you. For being located on the upper east side m, I expected more out of the cleanliness of the space. The second class I took , the instructor was also very good. Cleanliness in a fitness studio if very important to me and unfortunately, I wont be going back. Really hope they get a cleaning person in there and make it a more elevated experience I’m sure most are expecting. If you don’t care about the cleanliness, great workout!
June 26 · Emma EskanderI’ve been a regular at VAURA for a year now and have never looked back! I quickly became hooked on the fusion of Pilates and strength training that this studio provides. The trainers are fantastic - they are the heart of what makes this studio stand out! Every class is unique, incorporating different flows and moves that always make for an effective workout. It’s an energizing environment, too, with great music and lighting during class. 10/10 recommend.
February 14 · Mary SwansonAwful experience. If you book through classpass they do treat you like just another number. They haven’t taken the responsibility to partner correctly with ClassPass to say you absolutely need grip socks or they will force you to buy them for $20+ so when you show up, they put the onus on YOU even though they haven’t given the proper instructions to ClassPass or followed through with checking if customers through ClassPass have the correct info they need. They will side with you and speak anti ClassPass instead of calling them as their partner and fixing this stuff! They confirmed this isn’t the first time they’ve experienced this situation. So they revel in making money off this glitch. They’re words: oh it’s on our website that you have to have grip socks. Why would anyone booking through ClassPass go to the website? And : you can take this up with ClassPass (aka not take the class but go back and take it up with ClassPass). All over New York most Pilates classes that use the exact Allegro machine they do will say you can use grip socks or do the class barefoot, but charging $20 for socks (not any known brand, just their own white labeled unbranded socks) is just money making scheme for them considering they don’t really invest in a quality sound system. The entire class, 1) you can’t hear a word of what the instructor is saying over the music, 2) the instructor doesn’t even try to help you if you’re having trouble understanding (in a 50% full class) 3) after the class minimizes their issue with sound and makes it all about ‘getting used to the lights and machines’ as if this is your first time doing Pilates.
April 27 · S VAbsolutely obsessed with this studio. I've tried both Chandler and Tara's classes and loved their uplifting energy and ability to be so present in the room. The workout is challenging and different every time you go, so it doesn't get boring. Truly the best part of my workout-class cycle is going to Vaura!
July 08 · Julia DiRubboI love VAURA! The studio has a good vibe and friendly staff from the front desk to the instructor. Sheryll, my go-to instructor, provided expert guidance on alignment and proprioception. Each class is uniquely challenging and provides an effective workout that engages my muscles - the best I've experienced thus far.
