It is super convenient, efficient, friendly, and clean. No one is yelling at you, the coaches are kind and offer a few corrections and encouragement, and the music is not too loud, which I appreciate. I'm happy we have this gym in the neighborhood!

I LOVED boxing, but wasn't able to find a gym around me that consisted of not only boxing technique, but the strength and conditioning element of it as well.. and I pretty much gave up my search and stored my gloves away for years. Until recently when I saw a post on Instagram about UBX.. and I decided to give it a try.Not only does the class structure include a mix of technique and conditioning/strength, but the coaches could not be nicer and more dedicated towards making sure you are working towards your highest potential. Something about me is that I have VERY bad lower back pain. I have had some pretty negative experiences with other gyms when it came to my lower back issues and their lack of listening when it came to some of my limitations that my back has unfortunately put on me workout/training wise.However, the coaches at UBX could not be more understanding and attentive towards my situation. They make sure that my form is correct in order to prevent any additional back injuries, and are continuously checking in on me during my workouts to make sure that i'm not in any pain/to modify the workout to prevent any strain if need be. The coaches LISTEN and CARE.. which is something I am so grateful for.My favorite part of the workouts is, hands down, the one to one mitt work you get to do with the coaches. This is where your boxing technique really comes to play, and you learn a lot during this time! I honestly wish there was more of it.. it's THAT good! I love that the classes focus on full body and that it's just filled with high energy and enthusiasm.I'd recommend this gym to anyone - whether you're a beginner at working out or are on more of an advanced level, this gym accommodates any level athlete! ♡
August 16 · SamiI’m still a relative newbie, but can jump right into my workouts. There is always a coach on the floor to help me make sure I’m getting each exercise right. I love that I can start whenever I need to — no need to sign up for a class ahead of time. My primary goal was to increase muscle mass and I have achieved that in the first month! Highly recommend.
July 25 · Catharine FleuryI’ve been a member of UBX for about 2 months and I absolutely love it. The staff is very attentive and the gym is super clean. The workouts keep me motivated to keep coming back. I’ve done a few personal training sessions with Audrey and she is the absolute best. My back was very sore and stiff after a minor injury and she knew exactly what exercises and stretches to do and I’m feeling so much better now! Additionally she stayed close by when I came back to the gym for my 1st workout after injury. She made sure my form was correct and that my effort was best for exercise and not re-injury. Topazia also monitors form closely and provides feedback to ensure injury prevention and maximum progress. I got great supplements as well, plus body scan data shows I’ve gained muscle!Overall I highly recommend this gym. You get more for your money than anywhere else.
May 13 · Carl Jost IIII’m a new member at UBX Larchmont and must say that the experience is just want I wanted. There are focused exercises that involve a total body workout spaced out over 12 3 minute rounds. Since I never had any boxing experience, the coaches who monitor each member are knowledgeable and encouraging and present throughout the workout. Special shoutout to Audrey and James , coaches who were both exceptional in getting me started with sign ups, registering on the Aps, and the performance of the team exercises.I would highly recommend UBX for anyone interested in a finely tuned total body workout DB
