For New Yorkers seeking a workout that is both challenging and deeply rewarding, a traditional gym might not be enough. Two Bridges Muay Thai offers a unique alternative, blending high-intensity physical training with the disciplined art of Muay Thai. Our mission is to provide an inclusive and supportive environment where everyone, regardless of their experience level, can find a place to grow and thrive. This gym is more than just a place to train; it's a community that fosters empowerment, friendship, and personal growth.
What sets Two Bridges Muay Thai apart is our unwavering commitment to creating a space that feels like a "second home," as one of our members described it. We understand that stepping into a combat sport gym for the first time can be intimidating. That’s why our coaches are not only skilled and knowledgeable but also incredibly patient and beginner-friendly. Our focus on a welcoming environment ensures that every person who walks through our doors feels supported from the very first moment. Real customer reviews highlight our success in "empowering women and other people who do not typically see themselves represented in a combat sport," making us a true leader in creating an inclusive fitness community in New York.
We are proud to be a business that identifies as both Asian-owned and Black-owned, reflecting the diverse fabric of our city and our neighborhood. This identity is at the core of our inclusive philosophy, which actively creates an LGBTQ+ friendly and transgender safe space. Our gym community is built on mutual respect and a shared passion for the art of Muay Thai, making it a place where you can not only get in shape but also build close friendships and a strong sense of belonging. The friendly and open atmosphere ensures that everyone, from seasoned practitioners to brand-new beginners, feels confident and motivated.

We are conveniently positioned to be a central and reachable destination for anyone looking to start or continue their martial arts journey in the city.
Our commitment to accessibility is a fundamental part of our business. We are proud to offer a gender-neutral restroom, a feature that reinforces our dedication to being an inclusive space for all. This proactive approach to inclusivity, combined with a general focus on creating a welcoming environment, ensures that our gym is a true safe space for the entire community.
Two Bridges Muay Thai offers a range of services centered around the art of Muay Thai, designed to provide a comprehensive workout and a unique skill set.
Muay Thai Training for All Levels: Our core service is high-quality Muay Thai instruction. We cater to all experience levels, from absolute beginners to advanced practitioners. Our coaches are patient and skilled, focusing on technique, form, and overall conditioning. This ensures that even on your first day, you can get a great workout and learn the basics in a supportive setting.
Skill Development and Technique: Our training sessions are not just about getting a good workout; they are focused on building a deep understanding of the art of Muay Thai. As a member noted, you will "find space to work on your technique," which is crucial for long-term growth and skill development.
Conditioning and Fitness: Muay Thai is an incredibly effective full-body workout. Our classes incorporate cardio, strength, and endurance training, helping you build a lean, strong physique. It’s "both a great workout and a great community," as a customer highlighted, ensuring you get both physical benefits and social rewards.
Empowerment and Self-Defense: For many, training at our gym provides more than just physical fitness. It is a path to empowerment and self-confidence. A review from a woman who found "strength, empowerment, and close friends" here speaks to the profound impact our community-focused approach has on our members' lives.
What makes Two Bridges Muay Thai a top choice for New Yorkers seeking a fitness community is our unique set of features and the strong, positive atmosphere we have cultivated.
Inclusive and Welcoming Atmosphere: We are explicitly an LGBTQ+ friendly and transgender safe space. This commitment, coupled with our identity as an Asian-owned and Black-owned business, creates an environment where everyone feels accepted and respected.
Skilled and Patient Coaches: Our instructors are a major highlight, consistently praised for their knowledge, patience, and ability to work with all skill levels. They are the heart of our community and play a crucial role in making the gym accessible and effective for everyone.
Strong Community Vibe: Our gym is described as a "second home" and a "great community." We believe in fostering connections, and our members often build close friendships with one another. This social aspect is a powerful motivator for long-term gym attendance and success.
Beginner-Friendly Approach: Unlike some martial arts gyms that can be intimidating, we actively encourage and support first-timers. A customer’s "word of advice" to beginners to let coaches know it's their first time shows just how much we prioritize making everyone feel welcome and comfortable from day one.
Thoughtful Amenities: The presence of a gender-neutral restroom is a practical and symbolic feature that underscores our commitment to inclusivity and comfort for all members.

March 20 · Anna JohnsonOne year officially training at this gym. Coaches are very patient as well as beginner friendly from the day I started. Word of advice for all first timers, make sure you let your instructor and front desk know if its your first time ever training the art as well as your partner who you end up pairing with! Everyone is friendly and will offer advice, including myself if you run into me! Great gym and gym community.
June 05 · daniel leAbsolutely amazing coaches and welcoming presenceStudents so very helpful and supportiveClean and cool presentationSo very blessed to have the honor of meeting Superbon and Petchanong (One championship fighters) !
January 21 · MrJayahnAbsolutely incredible Muay Thai gym, I started going here early in the summer last year and keep coming back whenever I have time. The staff is well organized and friendly. The gym and the equipment is clean. Classes are fun and different depending on the coach you sign up for. Your experience may differ depending on your partner but everyone is very friendly and open to helping you out if its your first time. I would say it is best to come to your first class in proper clothes and with some idea of what the basics are as the classes are usually full and the coach can’t provide individual attention at all times. Overall its a great gym with a welcoming community at a reasonable price.
March 21 · Timothy ChanThe best Muay Thai gym in the city. The coaches and gym community fosters a healthy and safe environment to practice and learn Muay Thai. Highly recommend
