★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I really enjoyed my second time visiting this studio! Alexandra has amazing energy and it’s really down to earth. I would recommend trying more than one instructor at this location. I’m looking forward to taking more classes from her in the future. (:Additionally, the studio space is absolutely beautiful!
January 21 · Kallie McGrathI’ve done a few classes here. The space is beautiful and the classes themselves are fine, but the instructors are not friendly and one of them made a snarky comment about me accidentally putting away a piece of gear incorrectly in front of the whole class which was very unnecessary. I unfortunately doubt that this would be a welcoming environment for people who are new to pilates, and with how expensive the classes are you can find much more welcoming and inclusive studios. Looking at some other reviews, it looks like I’m not the only person who has had this type of experience here.
August 17 · Katherine FittsI decided to look at Toolbox because it had the brick backdrop, I wanted. When I actually went to see it though it was even better than I expected. It mixes old (brick) with new, modern art and has the added softness of all the string lights. I saw it in the daytime, and I knew it was exactly what I wanted. My fiance was hesitant only because we'd only toured 2 venues by that point, but I knew I didn't have to look any further. The day of the wedding, it looked amazing, and we didn't have to add much decor to make it look that way since the venue it beautiful by itself. We got so many compliments about our wedding from guests, but the biggest one was about how amazing the venue was.Tip: If you go with Toolbox are considering getting a day-of-coordinator, use Toolbox's coordinator, Iva. She only charges $600 which is much less than a typical day of coordinator. She knows the venue so well, and it made the experience so easy.
May 21 · Rachel SteidlThe best pilates Studio I have been to! Love the atmosphere and the trainers. I particularly loved training with Alexandra Ambrico and Zaina Barakat.Tools are high quality and amenities are great. Always looking forward to return there!
June 30 · Madina SharipovaI began reformer training with Alexandria Ambrico after I hurt my back gardening. In less than 2 months, I see big improvement in my flexibility and core strength. Alex is methodical and careful in my sessions, watching out and correcting my form. I learned more than enough to feel comfortable to go to her reformer group classes as well. The studio is beautiful and clean, the reformers are smooth and ease to use. I really enjoy going there. BTW, don't be discouraged if you don't hear from the studio at the beginning. I just showed up one day after hearing no response via email or phone, ran into Alex and booked with her lol After that, all communications from the studio were prompt and reliable. I think they count on you to use their web site for scheduling so it could be user error lol
