The studio provides a beautiful, clean, and dedicated space for those seeking to challenge their bodies and achieve a long, lean physique. Lagree Fitness Classes: The main offering is a 50-minute, high-intensity, low-impact class using the Megaformer M3. The workout combines muscle-toning moves with core-strengthening principles, and focuses on slow, controlled movements and fast transitions to keep the heart rate elevated. The goal is to improve muscle endurance and tone.
Expert-Guided Workouts: Classes are led by expert trainers who are skilled in guiding and modifying exercises to suit different fitness levels. As one customer noted, the goal is to always have a "challenging, rewarding workout," with trainers who can "cheer you on as you sweat, shake, and burn your way to the strongest and happiest version of you."
Variety of Exercises: The Megaformer allows for an "unlimited array of exercises." This ensures that workouts are never boring or repetitive. The instructors guide you through seamless transitions to keep you engaged throughout the entire session.
Personalized Experience: While the workouts are in a group setting, they are designed to be personal. As one visitor noted, "everyone gets their own space to work at and do their thing." The ability of the coaches to offer corrections and guidance ensures that each person is performing the moves safely and effectively.

What is worth choosing
For residents of the Washington region, particularly in Bellevue, choosing The Pursuit is an excellent option for those looking for a specific, highly-effective, and low-impact workout. While one reviewer had an experience with a newer instructor that wasn't as personal as they'd hoped, this seems to be an anomaly, as other reviews from sources such as ClassPass often praise the instructors for being welcoming, kind, and clear in their instructions. The core reason to choose The Pursuit is the quality of the workout itself. The Lagree Method on the Megaformer is known for its ability to deliver an intense, calorie-burning session that builds muscle and improves endurance without the high-impact stress on joints. This makes it a perfect choice for people of all fitness levels, including those who may have injuries or prefer a gentler approach to exercise. The idea of reaching muscle failure through slow, controlled movements is a key to building a "long, lean physique."
The studio’s commitment to providing a beautiful, well-lit, and accessible space enhances the overall experience. The individual spaces for each participant allow for a focused workout without the feeling of being crowded. This is a great alternative for people who find traditional gyms intimidating. Furthermore, supporting a local, women-owned, and Asian-owned business contributes positively to the Bellevue community. The combination of a unique workout, a serene environment, and the potential for a supportive community makes The Pursuit a great choice for anyone seeking to challenge their body, achieve tangible results, and find a happy, healthy version of themselves. It is a place for those who are ready to work hard and see their efforts pay off in a way that is both safe and empowering.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Very tough and difficult work out. I tried it for the first time and I was surviving it trying to do just something for the whole class. It’s a series of small strength-building movements. I’m sure they are very effective and it’s cool that everyone gets their own space to work at and do their thing. I prefer something more upbeat though.Beautiful studio and super nice and friendly coach
January 15 · Olga KovalenkoI’m a frequent attendee at Solidcore, and given that the pursuit is a small business, I really wanted to like it. I bought the intro offer for $49 and went twice (had to cancel once). The first time I went the instructor seemed new and like she was still figuring things out. The second time, my instructor was better but acted like I didn’t exist in a class of 3 people! The impersonal manner of the coaches that I experienced certainly does not contribute to the culture of support that they advertise on their website. In terms of the actual workout, it is almost too well rounded in the sense that you work a lot of muscles a little bit and don’t reach muscle failure which is necessary to build muscle. The studio in Bellevue is nice and I enjoyed the natural light provided by the windows . I don’t know if my experience is an anomaly or if I was just unlucky.
May 28 · ANFor my birthday, I booked a private charter Lagree class at The Pursuit and brought a few friends along. It ended up being one of the highlights of the weekend. Karley was so sweet and made sure the workout was both fun and challenging. Everyone in the group had an amazing time. Highly recommend if you’re celebrating something or just looking for a great sweat session!
May 15 · Meghan MullallyCompared to another Pilates studio that I frequent, the workout here feels pretty easy (almost not effective). The energy is pretty meh without any authentic attention. The business profits from grippy socks that don’t help with the moves at all. I’ve never been to another Pilates place that doesn’t allow people to choose what they wear. Barefoot should be an option.
May 07 · Milky TraIf you have done reformer Pilates before, the megaformer and the Lagree exercises might be familiar. The difference is you’re encouraged to go extremely slow, which makes the muscles twitch & shake like mad.The instructors at The Pursuit are all so nice and if you inform them of issues you may have (wrist for me), they make sure you have alternate exercises / positions.
