★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I’ve been going to the hot room for about 3 months. I took my first class with Petrina and absolutely fell in love. Her classes are challenging and rewarding. The environment she creates for her students is a welcoming and engaging experience. This is the place to be if you are looking for a fun and challenging workout. I recommend it to everyone in any stage of your fitness journey!!!
May 24 · Dayse garciaThe hot room Long Beach has absolutely been a wonderful experience for me. I have been attending classes regularly for three months and have seen awesome results. Each of the instructors have their own unique style. They all bring a passion and dedication to each and every class that is palpable. I always leave feeling like the instructors genuinely care about my health and well-being. Patrina is one of the Pilates instructors whose classes I've been able to attend most often given my schedule. She is very encouraging and pushes us to try our best and give all that we can. She understands that each person has their own capabilities and or physical challenges. Students are always reminded to progress at a pace they are comfortable with. Patrina observes everyone in the room and is there to help anyone who may need it. She is lively and upbeat and brings a lot of fun and laughter to each class. She also plays great music that you definitely want to work out to! We are all complimented and thanked by her at the end of class for showing up and trying our best. I highly recommend the hot room Long Beach. In reality, all of the instructors bring these same qualities to their classes. They are happy to see their students and they simply seem happy to be there supporting uour optimal physical and mental well-being.
May 27 · Gina FaielloI did the two week new student membership. I took 6 different classes with 5 different teachers. The experience really depends on the teacher. For the most part, teachers were very militant. Some did not like face towels. Some only allowed to drink water at certain times when teacher gave the okay cue. I even got scolded at for talking after class while I was packing my stuff. There was no meditation or spirituality in any of the practices. The studio does get hot and the asanas are not necessarily difficult. I also find Nicole and Mayu good teachers. They throughly guide through each asana. Yet, it is not enough for me to stay because overall I was highly disappointed at this studio.
August 11 · Keirin LazoTook my first and last class at this studio. Was looking for something closer to where I live and was super disappointed from the moment I paid and was checked in. I booked a hot pilates class, and had no proper instruction of anything after mentioning I was a first time student, got rudely yelled at by the instructor to leave my phone outside the studio, and felt like this was more of a yelling/bootcamp lead class. The instructor kept sarcastically mentioning the session we were doing was “not that hard” while students were putting in their work. I would agree with another review I saw on their page in that “this class goes against the whole entire purpose, intention, and benefit of yoga. I’m honestly forever traumatized from this place. It’s a disgrace to the yoga community and I’m extremely disappointed”. My instructor was Petrina.
April 24 · Giovanna MottaPetrina is an absolutely phenomenal Pilates instructor at The Hot Room Long Beach! She is incredibly dedicated to her students and truly pushes us beyond what we think our limits are every Saturday morning. I have never seen my body transform so quickly as it has since taking her classes.I initially started with pretty severe neck pain from an injury, and thanks to Petrina’s expert guidance, I’ve seen tremendous improvement in my neck, back, and shoulders. Her Hot Pilates Sculpt Full Beast Mode class is no joke—it’s intense, challenging, and exactly what you need if you’re looking for a killer workout. This class is hands down so much better than any Megaformer class I’ve ever taken. If you’re ready to sweat, strengthen, and see real results, I highly recommend taking Petrina’s class. She will push you, support you, and help you unlock strength you didn’t know you had!
