★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I’ve been coming to Tangerine Yoga for a while now, and what stands out the most to me is their strong sense of community. It feels so different from other studios when the owner, Laura, remembers your name after just one or two visits — it’s warm, personal, and truly special. To be honest, my first visit didn’t leave a strong impression. The class was crowded, and the instructor was just okay (no longer work here) — not bad, but not memorable either. So I didn’t return for almost a year. But everything changed the second time I walked in — it was Laura’s class. She was completely different. Her presence, energy, and teaching style drew me in. I signed up for a membership right after. Her classes carried me through one of the most difficult times of my life. I was being stalked by someone, and I was constantly in pain, stressed, and afraid for my safety and my family’s. But somehow, Laura’s class gave me peace. It helped me breathe again — physically and emotionally.Another teacher I love is Liz. Her energy is completely different from Laura’s — like yin and yang. One calm, one dynamic. Their classes perfectly match my different needs for yoga, and I deeply appreciate both.Even though I’ve lived in the U.S. for years, my English hasn’t improved much. But their classes are very friendly to non-native speakers. Laura and Liz, in particular, make everyone feel welcome. Now I’m preparing to head back to China, but I want to leave this note of gratitude and recommendation: If you’re looking for a yoga space that’s healing, warm, and truly human — Tangerine 🍊 is it. I hope it stays around for a long, long time.P.S. There’s a yoga teacher here named Cissy who speaks Mandarin. She helped me better understand and follow Liz’s instructions. Truly grateful!
July 07 · Yuiko ZhangLove Tangerine so much—a warm, inviting, friendly yoga community. All of the instructors are incredible, each with their own signature style, but you'll leave every class revitalized and calmer. Heat is not overwhelming, just right temp IMO. (Also love that mats and towels are included) Would recommend for yoga newbies or seasoned vets!
August 18 · Sarah LabudaTangerine is my happy place. Everybody makes you feel so welcome here. The classes are challenging but also grounding. The instructors/ staff are all so beautiful in their own ways with distinct energies. All supportive and kind. Liz on Tuesday’s/Sunday’s is dynamic with killer playlists. Willow’s classes feel calm with elements of barre. Alyssa kicks your ass with strength.I recommend this studio to everybody I know. I upgraded my class load after a few months. This made me love the practice of yoga.
July 09 · Miluska FrancoBeen a member for 3 years and it was the best decision I made. I had done yoga on and off for about 7 years but truly changed my life to commit and have the consistency of weekly classes. Such an inclusive and diverse space, welcoming and respectful of all bodies, abilities, genders, race. Love the playlist themed classes and emphasis on going at your own speed, taking what you need from class.
August 15 · Claudine ChoI love this studio! While the yoga is great, the people are even better. From desk attendants to assistants to instructors to owner, it has a real family feel to it. Each instructor has their own unique style of teaching and they complement each other really well. Their personalities come thru in their teaching which makes the class experience all the more personable and enjoyable. And if yoga isn’t your thing, try a strength class! It’s a fast-paced, full-body workout incorporating strength, cardio, and flexibility. As rewarding as it is challenging!
