May 08 · Allison RicketI’ve been going here for a while, and I’d consider myself a bit more serious of a lifter than most. Right off the bat, I’m taking off two stars due to poor gym etiquette—especially the lack of enforcement around wiping down equipment. It’s unhygienic, and honestly, just gross.I’m taking another star because many members seem unaware of how much space they’re taking up. It’s common to see someone occupying 2-3 racks at once rotating through different lifts rather than using 1 rack. I don’t think it’s intentional —just a lack of awareness—but nevertheless this makes it difficult to work out sometimes. That said, the gym has positives: it’s walking distance for me, has enough weight for me, and includes a powerlifting area and punching bags. I believe this is the only gym in Athens that has both. The machine selection is basic, but they cover the essentials and a bit more.Overall, this place has potential. If gym etiquette were better enforced, I’d recommend it. For now, I’d only suggest it if you’re focused on powerlifting or want something super convenient.
May 07 · Emerson PresarStructure is my favorite place to workout! I participate in a conditioning class that meets 3 times a week and I love it! I play roller derby for AORD and it has leveled up my gameplay immensely 💪🏼 Lee cares a lot about his gym and the people who go there and I highly recommend trying a session!
