StretchLab Introduce
For residents of Pennsylvania, especially those in the bustling urban environment of Philadelphia, a new approach to fitness and wellness is gaining traction. This is where StretchLab comes in. Located in the prestigious Rittenhouse Square neighborhood, StretchLab is a unique fitness center dedicated to the art and science of assisted stretching. Unlike traditional gyms that focus solely on cardio and strength training, StretchLab provides a professional, one-on-one service designed to improve mobility, increase flexibility, and help you feel your best. It’s an ideal solution for everyone, from professional athletes preparing for a game to office workers seeking relief from the daily grind.
The philosophy at StretchLab is simple yet profound: "Don't just stretch—get stretched." Their mission is to help people reclaim their freedom to move, a natural energy that comes from a body free of tightness and imbalance. The entire experience is built around personalized attention from certified professionals known as Flexologists. As one satisfied customer shared, the instructors are not only thorough but also "talked through every stretch while also explaining in detail how/why certain factors cause muscle issues in a way that was so simple to understand." This educational component ensures that clients not only feel better but also gain a deeper understanding of their own bodies. This is what truly sets StretchLab apart from other fitness and wellness facilities in the area.
StretchLab's specialized services are a perfect complement to any existing fitness routine. For athletes, as one reviewer mentioned, a session can leave them "ready for game." For those with muscle tightness from long days at a desk, a session can be a restorative reset. The studio offers a clean, organized, and welcoming environment, making it a peaceful escape from the city's fast pace. The owner and staff are described as "personable and welcoming," which immediately puts clients at ease and creates a genuinely positive experience.

Services Offered
One-on-One Assisted Stretching: This is the core service offered by StretchLab. Highly trained Flexologists work with clients on a one-on-one basis, guiding them through a series of stretches on custom-designed benches. Sessions are available in two primary lengths to suit different needs and schedules: a 25-minute Maintenance Stretch and a more extensive 50-minute Full Body Stretch.
Normatec™ Compression Therapy: The studio also offers Normatec™ pneumatic compression therapy, which is designed to improve circulation, enhance muscle recovery, and increase range of motion. This service is a popular add-on for athletes and anyone looking to speed up their recovery process.
Customized Programs: No two bodies are the same, and StretchLab understands this perfectly. Every session begins with a conversation to identify the client's problem areas, goals, and any physical limitations. This ensures that each stretch is customized to the individual's needs, providing a truly personalized wellness solution.
Monthly Memberships: StretchLab offers various monthly membership packages with a choice of 25-minute or 50-minute sessions. For those who want to be consistent and see results, these packages are the most popular and cost-effective way to integrate stretching into a regular routine.
First-Time Offers: For newcomers, StretchLab often has special introductory offers, such as a discounted first 50-minute stretch. This is a great, low-risk way to experience the benefits of assisted stretching and decide if it's the right fit for you.

June 19 · Tajuana WenzeI tried StretchLab for the first time and had a great experience! The Rittenhouse location in Philly is very organized and clean. Mike was the instructor who worked on me and he did an excellent job. He asked me where my problem areas were and what the possible reasons for them. He talked through every stretch while also explaining in detail how/why certain factors cause muscle issues in a way that was so simple to understand. The owner was also there and he was also great - very personable and welcoming. I genuinely enjoyed my experience and plan to get another stretch done in Philly as well as at other locations closer to where I live. Overall if you’ve been thinking about trying out StretchLab then do it!
June 08 · Mariam YI've been working with Cedric for a few weeks and have been extremely satisfied with his knowledge, approach, and attention to detail.I initially went to StretchLab based on a recommendation from a running friend. I've been training for a triathlon and early on my journey I was experiencing lower back pain, pulled groin, and tight quads/calves. I reached a point where I was questioning if I could do the triathlon since I was so early into training and didn't think I'd make it past the training. After a few weeks and sessions with Cedric, the pains have been alleviated and resolved. I have improved my flexibility, better range of motion, and more confidence during my training sessions. I'm now in a maintenance phase, and will continue with my session. With Cedric's help, I'm 3/4 of the way through my training, and more than confident I'll complete my triathlon better than I initially anticipated.Be sure to see him if you're experiencing any training challenges or muscular pain. Thanks StretchLab & shout to Cedric!

June 29 · Ishmael Iben-MalikAlice was excellent! She took her time and explained each stretch and let me choose my limits. She also gave me some stretches to do at home in my spare time to help with stiffness. Thank you Alice!
