★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1It wasn't worth what I paid for. Other gyms offer better programs, more space, longer sessions, and more active movement. It felt more like attending a school lecture than a workout class. The instructor Olivia just kept talking the whole time — if it were a cheaper or longer class, maybe it would be okay, but it felt really unsatisfying. Also, it clearly says that regular socks aren't allowed, but the instructor was wearing regular socks.
May 30 · Ciao !love love love this location. Solidcore is challenging in all the right ways. Literally had me down 4 pounds after my 2 week trial. Gerard is my favorite although i have never had a negative experience with any coach there.
April 21 · Lena GudderHighly addictive workouts & motivating coaches. What more could you needDon’t let the sticker shock hold you back. We all spend so much money on food/ alcohol that harms our bodies, spending a small fraction of that to support our personal health is a great trade off.Don’t take my word for it, try it for yourself
January 11 · Sarah McGeehonWaking up early for a Monday 5am class is tough. But Michael made it so worth it! If waking up early is tough for you and Mondays even more so, starting your work week with Michael’s Monday 5am class is a great way to kick things off! His humor, music, and overall presence made the experience so much fun. If you’re thinking about trying it, this is your sign to just do it! You won’t regret it!
July 08 · Nicole BuggyIf you’re already a 10-year pilates person seeking another new level of intensity, this workout can be highly effective. Otherwise, starter class is a MUST.I’ve been doing HIIT, weight training, and vinyasa for several years, but Solidcore’s typical course was pretty challenging because of the equipment. The middle panel of it was quickly sliding back and forth with just a tiny amount of pushing, which made me felt really unstable in the beginning. It took the entire class to get used to it.Overall ambiance was shaded and deafening. It was pretty difficult getting used to the machine while following the fast instructions at the same time. Instruction was not only just fast, but also having a lot of loud crackling noise from mic, which made my ears numbing and painful.Although I had a solid understanding of the limit of my movements and somehow picked it up trying out, I couldn’t help thinking that there would be quite a chance to get injured for whom don’t do workout often. I myself was pretty confused and even freaked out when the machine seemed out of control…As most postures were done on the sliding panel, slightly moving all the time, it was also harder to grab timing to ease myself even though the nature of the workout was super intense. It was not like yoga or other workouts done on the ground which one could always stop and take a breath and resume…Probably it would’ve been better if I get my feet wet with some starter courses, but unfortunately it was not. I’d better stick to familiar workouts which I feel much more comfortable. Those can be super intense as well as this one, but with more control and inner peace. Simply not mine:)
