March 21 · Alexis GalanekI love the workout. Half cardio+ half megaformer is exactly what i want. Unfortunately, there’s blood stain on the towel I grabbed from the front desk.. It’s kinda scary coz I only noticed the blood after I started using it for like 15mins. I understand that SLT is in general not as clean as its competitors, but seeing blood stains on towels is a big no for me. Wont be back.
June 29 · Yoyo.kReally cool workout concept which combines two of my favourite workouts.You start the first half of class on a treadmill, doing a workout similar to Barry's/orange theory (much less intense though). Then, after your run you switch out of your running shoes and on to the reformer machine to do the pilates half of class.It's really fun, challenging but fun and the variety mixes it up so time feels like it's flying past.The studio itself is pretty small, and inside the class once the treadmills and reformers are full it gets quite stuffy/hot inside with no AC.Instructors are really nice and friendly too.
September 12 · Mel JSLT is a great workout - biggest complaint is they force you to wear grip socks, which just isn’t necessary on the megaformer. It’s half tread and half Pilates, and the Pilates section is very similar to solidcore. They force you to pay about $20 for grip socks which is a bit ridiculous, so get them beforehand if you’re attending
