The gym's location in the West Adams neighborhood places it conveniently near major thoroughfares, making the commute straightforward from various parts of the city. While parking in Los Angeles can often be a headache, this facility offers free street parking, a significant benefit that makes attending classes hassle-free. Its proximity to other local businesses and residential areas makes it a true community hub where members feel at home. The ease of access, combined with the availability of free parking, removes a common barrier to consistent training, allowing people to show up and put in the work without the added stress of city logistics. This prime location is a key factor in why so many locals choose to make Sick Side Muay Thai their home gym.
Sick Side Muay Thai offers a variety of services designed to meet the needs of a diverse clientele, from children to adults and from novices to professional fighters. The core of their offering is authentic Muay Thai training, which focuses on mastering the "Art of Eight Limbs" – using fists, elbows, knees, and shins. The curriculum is structured to ensure a progressive learning experience, with varied workouts and a focus on different striking and clinch combinations. The coaches are known for their ability to break down complex techniques and provide clear, corrective feedback, making it an excellent place for beginners. In addition to the regular classes, the gym also caters to a younger audience. They offer specialized classes that are good for kids, teaching them discipline, fitness, and the fundamentals of Muay Thai in a safe and supportive setting. The gym provides a restroom for convenience, and the overall atmosphere is centered around a strong sense of community and camaraderie. The classes are not just about physical training; they are about building character and a supportive network. The gym's offerings go beyond just group classes, with personalized attention from coaches who are committed to each student's improvement. Whether you're looking for an intense cardio workout, a new skill to master, or a path to self-improvement, the services at Sick Side Muay Thai are tailored to help you achieve your goals.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Muay Thai is the best therapy, and Sick Side is the place to train it in LA. I came here for real training—and I found it. The technique, the intensity, the structure—it’s all there. But what really made me stay was the atmosphere and the people. It’s focused, welcoming, and built on consistency and care. No ego, no shortcuts—just the kind of environment where you can actually grow. You can’t fake Muay Thai. You have to show up, put in the hours, and be willing to get uncomfortable. The coaches—Oscar, Paul, and Geno—each bring their own strengths and push you in different ways. They’re thoughtful, present, and committed to helping you improve
June 16 · Aigerim YerI've been coming here to train in Muay Thai for about a month. I really like both coaches and the way they explain and demonstrate things, especially when you're doing something incorrectly. The workouts are varied — each time we practice different strikes and strike combinations, and on Wednesdays we learn how to clinch. I'm looking forward to continuing my training here with you.
June 16 · Viktoria IvanovaI am beyond appreciative of the environment here. Coming in (as a smaller woman) was intimidating, but everyone was incredibly welcoming and you warm up to the group fast. The classes are well structured, with an emphasis on teamwork and discipline. It’s not easy and you learn a ton, but everything is digestible and can be picked up with time. Overall, I highly recommend this studio for anyone! Definitely a gem 🫶
May 22 · LilyMy first Muay Thai gym. I definitely really like it, even though I'm just a beginner. I like the team spirit inside our gym. You can ask for help from your teammates, and even attend their fights and cheer for your Sick Side team. Many thanks for the work and support of our coaches Oscar, Paul and Geno.
