July 10 · Brittany FordI had an awesome first experience with the founder, Samantha, as my instructor. Though I was nervous, I felt welcomed immediately and encouraged throughout. It was a small class but we had a range of experiences, skill sets, and body types in the room, so Samantha helped modify and tailor each exercise for us as individuals. I’m usually intimidated/embarrassed by group classes and tend to seek out places where I don’t have to interact with others much. While I don’t think anyone would have forced me out of that comfort zone if I had chosen that attitude today, by the end of the class, I genuinely wanted to check in with others and enjoy the complimentary iced coffee. I walked out with a much different mindset on what fitness classes can be and I’m excited to schedule my next one at She Shop. What a wonderful addition to our Broad Ripple community!
