★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Hey, Retro Fitness you are a great gym BUT, paying 41.00 a month I want to see new bikes for the spin class. The bikes are breaking down, I was on a bike weeks ago and the seat fell down when I was on the bike in class. The straps become loose after you put your foot in them after you adjust the straps. For 41 dollars I want to see new bikes, Also there needs to be more bikes other than 13 bikes. Please Retro Fitness do better, so you can meet the needs of people in this spin class. WE NEED NEW BIKES, Don't be cheap, I know you got the money to get new bikes.
July 08 · Mark HarrisThey need to hire professional adults to work at this location.I purchased a Fitness Pass from my employer which gives me access to 10,000+ around the country, a program Retro Fitness is def a part of. I went to sign up at this location and the person working the front desk had an attitude as if I was disturbing them to sign up for a benefit that is honored there. I was met with short responses and no help when I showed my Fitness Pass benefit card. The person even called the manager and said “She said she had access to 10,000 gyms or something???” as if I would make that up. Super unprofessional tone of voice. For context: Gyms have access to these internal portals such as Tivity Health or Prime to accommodate people like this.Even after being told this with my employer representative on the phone, the person at the front desk still was unable to help me telling me that I need to leave my name, birthday and email address on a random notepad in the office.I’ve never been asked to do this when using this service. (That information is given when registering for the Fitness Pass, which could be seen had the front desk person accessed the system.) I expressed to the front desk person Jordan that I’m uncomfortable with that and in between texts to a “manager,” they said that the current manager “doesn’t know what he’s doing,” and apparently hired another manager who is offsite and doesn’t come into that location. I’m not even sure if this mystery manager is actually employed by Retro Fitness or doing a favor for the other no-show manager. I asked if they left credentials with them since Jordan is working alone, to which I was told no, which is also unusual. If a person is working the front desk, they should be able to access those internal systems without waiting for someone to text them back. This isn’t a mom and pop gym.I was told a real manager would call me back. I’m not sure if one exists, I never received a call. Very frustrated and disappointed at the lack of customer service I received. I was very excited to begin my fitness journey here, esp since the classes were exactly what I was looking for. This location is very unprofessional and unhelpful.
July 14 · Sarah MichelI love this specific gym location (Church Ave). I dont feel judged, everyone is nice for the most part, and they really care about their clients/customers. The facility is always clean when I go and they offer a variety of classes to cater to everyone. I'm always trying to get my mother to come with me but I recommend this gym to all my friends
May 03 · Sheena M (Ms. Shay)Nice Clean Gym. The Location is very convenient and The Staff always Seems to be in a Good mood. This place has a very nice Vibe. I Would Recommend as a Inexpensive Gym
July 07 · JaysonJust feels like home. I've only been to that gym for a few months, and it feels like a created a small workout family. I enjoy the time spent there and it's hard to miss a day! I've been to other Gyms and this has the best equipment I've used. I cannot imagine being anywhere else!
